○The factory ECU must be unmodified.<br />

○The factory washer tank must be removed in order to install this kit. Prepare a<br />

washer tank such as DENSO 160200-5070 WASER ASSY.<br />

○The factory air guide in front of the condenser must be modified to route a pipe in<br />

order to install the intercooler.<br />

○Required Installation Time: Approximately 6-8 hours.<br />

4. Concept & Features<br />

1. Harmonization of Engine + Motor Assist + Supercharger<br />

HONDA has introduced us the world’s first hybrid sports car <strong>CR</strong>-Z. HKS has examined the <strong>CR</strong>-<br />

Z from many different angles to develop product to harmonize the hybrid engine and<br />

supercharger. The <strong>CR</strong>-Z engine torque over at low engine rpm is supported by the motor assist<br />

function so you can enjoy torqueful drive even with the 1.5L engine. However, the engine<br />

performance at high engine rpm, especially when the motor assist function is off, cannot satisfy<br />

<strong>CR</strong>-Z owners. To improve the engine performance at high engine rpm, HKS developed its<br />

standard centrifugal type <strong>GT</strong> Supercharger for the <strong>CR</strong>-Z. The engine performance at low engine<br />

rpm is maintained by the motor assist function, and performance at high rpm is by HKS <strong>GT</strong><br />

Supercharger.<br />

2. Sports Car to Monster Car<br />

HKS has already offered “Winding Package” for the intake and exhaust tuning. For more <strong>CR</strong>-Z<br />

owners to enjoy tuning, “Hi-Performance Package” including <strong>GT</strong> Supercharger is released. This<br />

package transforms the <strong>CR</strong>-Z from a sport car to “Monster Machine.” The target engine output<br />

is 300ps and maximum speed is 250km/h with upgrading the engine internals and clutch.<br />

There are 2 types of “Hi-Performance Package.”<br />

STEP1: <strong>GT</strong> Supercharger Complete Kit (<strong>GT</strong>S4015 Step1)<br />

Bolt-on installation with the stock engine & injectors<br />

Engine Output: 170ps, Max Speed: 217km/h<br />

STEP2: <strong>GT</strong> Supercharger Complete Kit (<strong>GT</strong>4015 Step2)<br />

Bolt-on installation with the stock engine & upgraded injectors<br />

Engine Output: 200ps, Max Speed: 222km/h<br />

Special <strong>GT</strong> Supercharger Set-up Kit (<strong>GT</strong>S7040)<br />

Upgraded Engine, Upgraded Injectors, and Upgraded Fuel Pump<br />

Engine Output: over 300ps, Max Speed: 261km/h<br />

Special <strong>GT</strong>S7040 Supercharger Set-up Kit has already been released. <strong>GT</strong>4015 Supercharger<br />

Complete Kit Step1 and Step2 are now ready to release. These are complete kits for the stock<br />

engine. Step1 is for the stock engine with the stock injectors; the 170ps engine output can be<br />

reached. Step 2 includes the upgraded injectors; the 200ps engine output can be reached.<br />

“<strong>CR</strong>-Z is a sporty car, not sport car.” Installing “Winding Package” can be close to a sport car;<br />

however, the engine performance does not correspond to the original rigidity and turning<br />

behavior. Installing Step 1 or Step2 can bring out the <strong>CR</strong>-Z’s potentiality to become a real sport<br />

car.<br />

Many journalist and racing drivers have tried Step2, and the following are their comments on Step2.<br />

The exhaust gas measurement test on the <strong>CR</strong>-Z<strong>ZF1</strong> based on the JC08 Mode.<br />

7Reference<br />

○Installing the Washer Tank - DENSO 160200-5070 WASHER ASSY<br />

1 Remove the motor from the factory washer tank.<br />

2Remove the motor from the WASHER ASSY.


3 Install the removed factory motor to the WASHER ASSY.<br />

Reusing the factory motor can relocate the front and rear washer without modifying the wiring.<br />

Secure the motor to the vehicle with a bracket or tie wrap.
