• APSC 122 presentation
− Jenny Kagetsu asked if any ECSAC members would be interested in attending the
upcoming APSC 122 presentation to first year Engineering students on March 22,
2008. There were two volunteers; Steve Wagner MECH and Kelly Ng MECH).
• Statistical update – Handout provided
− No comments
− ECSAC members can email Wendy Lock if they would like statistics for their
disciplines.
• Strategic Plan update
− Admin only retreat – April 24 th , 2008
− Staff (admin & coordinator) retreat – April 25 th , 2008
• Director message
− An email update to be sent out as an attachment
• Year End report to be release at the end of April 2008.
• Communications plan
− Formally written with 3 simple objectives (Staff/Employers/Students)
− To increase employer and faculty awareness of program.
− No Alumni section; to add in next year.

Ashita Anand – Computer Engineering Co-op Student
• Ashita Anand was hired by the Engineering Co-op office for her Winter 2008 work term.
Her project this term was to create a new resume builder for ECO.
• A brief presentation and demonstration was given by Ashita on the new functions and look
of the new resume builder. The launch date will be May 1 st , 2008.
• ECSAC was asked to test the new resume builder when ready. Information will be sent to
the members once it is available.

• Graduation reception update
− The 2007 Engineering Co-op reception was held on March 6 th , 2008 at the Vancouver
Marriott Pinnacle Hotel for a 6-Course tasting menu. There were 136 of 224
graduating co-op students, 62 employers and 13 faculty members. There was a total
of $15,200 in table sponsorship.
• Sponsorship drive
− 2007/08 sponsorship drive was quite different than last year’s. A directed letter was
sent to 112 employers.
