Press Release
The ATX range of Alkè electric vehicles expands with the model 230E
Able to put together lightness and flexibility with power and performance, the new ATX230E
are unique in their category.
Padua, 13 th November 2013 - Alkè, Italian
manufacturer of electric commercial vehicles, has
decided to extend the already consolidated range of
ATX vehicles with a new model. To the already known
ATX110E, 210E and 240E, is now added the new born
ATX230E that ranks among the 210E and 240E.
Designed to meet the needs of those who have to work
in areas typical of the 210E (municipalities, logistics,
airports, railway stations, etc.) but need more powers.
Peculiarity of this model is the fact of being suitable for
both on-road use (approved at European level, category
L7e) and off-road thanks to the reinforced rear axle and to a good approach and departure
angle. Its use goes from the municipalities that use it for waste collection or maintenance, to the
farm that uses it for treatments or transport of equipment; from the use in the city centre for
logistics to the use on hilly terrain and dirt roads. Moreover thanks to the possibility of having
wide tires is able to operate also on turfgrass without damaging them.
With a towing capacity up to 3000 kg, a loading capacity (chassis) up to 1000 kg, a
maximum negotiable slope of 35% it has no equal among vehicles of the same category
available on the market. In terms of performance it has nothing to envy even compared to
equivalent vehicles diesel / gasoline ensuring in
addition, with regard to these, a considerable saving in
terms of costs in the short / medium term.
Entirely made in Italy, this model as the other of the
range, also appears to be extremely versatile thanks to
the possibility of being able to equip it with different
fittings easily interchangeable depending on the needs:
for example, you can pass in a matter of a few minutes
from the cargo bed with drop sides version to the one
with people carrier module, from the vehicle with snow
blade and salt spreader to the vehicle with just the
cargo bed.
