Don’t be surprised if Pablo Picasso is suddenly at your feet. in
Münster, art is not restricted to museums – it is also at home
in public spaces. every ten years internationally renowned artists
turn Münster into the mecca of the worldwide art scene as part
of the skulptur Projekte Münster – and many of their works have
become part of the urban landscape. But that doesn’t mean that
in Münster art lovers have to spend all their time outdoors: we
naturally have museums, too – and what museums! The Pablo
Picasso art Museum, the LWL state Museum of art and art History
or the Museum of Lacquer art: if you want, you can spend hours –
days, even – in these alone.
