Clean<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong>structions<br />

Care <strong>in</strong>structions for<br />

<strong>Blum</strong> products<br />

<strong>Blum</strong> products are ma<strong>in</strong>tenance-free. But dur<strong>in</strong>g assembly and usage of <strong>Blum</strong> products, it is <strong>in</strong>evitable that sta<strong>in</strong>s<br />

or other k<strong>in</strong>ds of contam<strong>in</strong>ation will appear on the product or its surfaces. When clean<strong>in</strong>g, make sure to treat the<br />

protective areas and materials with care. Avoid apply<strong>in</strong>g abrasive chemicals as they will cause damage to the<br />

product. The <strong>in</strong>struction procedures below show how proper treatment should be performed <strong>in</strong> order to ma<strong>in</strong>ta<strong>in</strong><br />

the good condition of the purchased goods.<br />

Sta<strong>in</strong>less steel sides and sta<strong>in</strong>less steel ORGA-LINE<br />

■ Use only commercial cleaners for sta<strong>in</strong>less steel (usually obta<strong>in</strong>able as<br />

spray). Read carefully the clean<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong>structions located on the canister<br />

before apply<strong>in</strong>g.<br />

■ Rub with a soft, damp cloth. Dry cloth should be used for wet surfaces.<br />

■ Wipe small contam<strong>in</strong>ations with solvent soap (mixed with water) and then<br />

mop away the small water drops with a dry cloth.<br />

■ ORGA-LINE: Dishwasher-proof us<strong>in</strong>g commercial dishwasher cleaner.<br />

Plastic-coated surfaces and plastic components<br />

■ Rub with a soft, damp cloth. Dry cloth should be used for wet surfaces.<br />

■ Wipe small contam<strong>in</strong>ations with solvent soap (mixed with water) and then<br />

mop away the small water drops with a dry cloth.<br />

Nickel- or chrome-plated surfaces<br />

■ Rub with a soft, damp cloth. Dry cloth should be used for wet surfaces.<br />

Oil<br />

SOLVENTS<br />

Under the above-mentioned circumstances,<br />

the follow<strong>in</strong>g should NOT be used:<br />

■ Scrubb<strong>in</strong>g household cleaners and accessories (bristly cloths, sponges, etc).<br />

■ Strong alkal<strong>in</strong>e or strong acid substances.<br />

■ Chloral cleaners.<br />

■ Micro fibres might harm surfaces <strong>in</strong> the event of scrubb<strong>in</strong>g.<br />

■ Acetone solvents, nitro th<strong>in</strong>ners, Sal ammoniac or solvents whose nomenclature<br />

conta<strong>in</strong>s terms that beg<strong>in</strong> with Tri/Tetra.<br />
