Base, Ala. ARCHER, which stands for airborne<br />

real-time cueing hyperspectral<br />

enhanced reconnaissance, represents one<br />

of the most advanced technologies available<br />

for search and rescue, and CAP is the first<br />

national organization to use it. Over the past<br />

year, ARCHER operators with CAP relied<br />

on the technology to help state and federal<br />

officials take illegal drugs off U.S. streets,<br />

protect Missouri residents against harmful<br />

chemical pollution and aid border patrols<br />

between Mexico and the U.S.<br />
