made from cotton, Kapok m<strong>at</strong>tresses and straw-filled<br />

m<strong>at</strong>tresses have caused many problems. The fashionable<br />

choice is not necessarily the right one. It is therefore<br />

certainly safer to count on hülsta’s 40 years of<br />

HR* cold foam m<strong>at</strong>tress<br />

HR* cold foam<br />

The term “cold foam” stands for particularly high-quality polyurethane soft foam.<br />

Unfortun<strong>at</strong>ely, the term is not protected, which means th<strong>at</strong> some of the so-called<br />

cold foam m<strong>at</strong>tresses do not fulfil the respective criteria. Only the additional HR<br />

(*HR = high resilient = highly elastic) gives you the security to acquire m<strong>at</strong>erial<br />

with perfect shape recovery and open cell structure. In addition to th<strong>at</strong>, hülsta<br />

guarantees not to use any filler.<br />

The p<strong>at</strong>ented core construction fe<strong>at</strong>uring up to 120 ventil<strong>at</strong>ion channels per m²<br />

ensures th<strong>at</strong> the ventil<strong>at</strong>ing properties of the HR* cold foam are perfectly used.<br />

The high volumetric weight (VW = 50 kg/m³) of the hülsta HR* cold foam is a<br />

distinct quality factor, ensuring th<strong>at</strong> the lying properties remain unchanged even<br />

after years of use.<br />

Visco-therm foam is thermo-elastic, i.e. it reacts to body weight and warmth<br />

by yielding. This ensures perfect pressure relief, free blood circul<strong>at</strong>ion and<br />

therefore deep, calm sleep. The balanced shape recovery forces of the core<br />

and the correct dimension of the Visco-therm foam make sure th<strong>at</strong> movement<br />

during sleep is not restricted. In order to ensure perfect air circul<strong>at</strong>ion,<br />

hülsta’s fine-celled Visco-therm foam is always used in conjunction with the<br />

p<strong>at</strong>ented core consisting of a segmented surface and vertical ventil<strong>at</strong>ion<br />

channels. The hülsta name guarantees th<strong>at</strong> your Visco-therm m<strong>at</strong>tress<br />

always shows all of those quality fe<strong>at</strong>ures.<br />

Generally, spring core m<strong>at</strong>tresses only “pass on” the difference in zone<br />

and firmness level to a limited extent. If however – as is the case with<br />

the hülsta multi-zone cylinder pocket spring core m<strong>at</strong>tress – each individual<br />

spring reacts independently, pressure-relieving lying comfort is<br />

guaranteed. The different construction of the springs defines the body<br />

zones and the firmness of the m<strong>at</strong>tress, thus cre<strong>at</strong>ing a comfortable lying<br />

surface th<strong>at</strong> is appreci<strong>at</strong>ed by many people. The p<strong>at</strong>ented core construction<br />

Full-surface ventil<strong>at</strong>ion layers of 3-d separ<strong>at</strong>ing layer made of 100 %<br />

pure polyester threads in various arrangements provide a special sleeping<br />

clim<strong>at</strong>e and a feeling of comfort. Spacer fabrics are ventil<strong>at</strong>ion layers<br />

positioned across the centre of the m<strong>at</strong>tress. They provide unhindered<br />

air circul<strong>at</strong>ion underne<strong>at</strong>h the resting body, which is important for a<br />

healthy, dry sleeping clim<strong>at</strong>e and a comfortable lying sens<strong>at</strong>ion.<br />
