candles have an orange color<br />
and pagans used them and<br />
the black comes from<br />
ceremonial caskets.<br />

black cats signify in<br />
Halloween lore. What do<br />
white cats signify?<br />
Maggie's answer: Black is<br />
seen as evil in every way not<br />
just on Halloween. I've never<br />
heard anything about white<br />
cats. To me, white would<br />
signify innocence. But now,<br />
you have me wondering<br />
because in the Orient, white<br />
signifies death.<br />
