Job Description: Estimator - DMC Mining Services

20. Takes responsibility for aspects of occupational health and safety, and
environmental matters, over which the individual has control, including adherence
to all requirements applicable to DMC.
21. Demonstrate commitment to the continued improvement of Occupational Health,
Safety and Environment
22. Such other duties as may be assigned from time to time
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Minimum 7 yrs experience in Mining industry
Minimum 3 years experience directly related to contract estimating.
Degree qualification or technical diploma in mining engineering.
Computer skills
o Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point
o Lotus 123
o Primavera
o ACAD and/or simulation software
o Bid2Win and/or Tonto estimating software
o Industry research protocols, (Internet)
Effective oral and/or written communication skills.
Skilled and often certified in professional engineering principles and methods.
