The Vance-Granville
Business Network was
formed in 2007. It is an area
organization of executives and
professionals working
together to network and
advance area businesses.
VGBN seeks to foster high
ethical standards, implement
networking events, and
provide mutual support and
fellowship for members who
serve their communities.
If you are a business
owner or professional who
seeks to share with other
professionals, please come to
a meeting. Guests can visit
three times, after which they
must submit an application
become a member of VGBN,
candidates must: a) promote,
sell or be involved with a line
business not currently
represented by the existing
members b) not compete with
another member’s major line
of business in such a way as
to make an existing member’s
membership less productive,
c) contribute to the growth,
community
and
productiveness of the
Network, and d) be employed
in their stated line of business
in a committed fashion.
Meetings commence with
open networking at 7:30 am,
followed by introductions,
passing of business cards, a
10-minute member
presentation, an educational
discussion, and a brief
business meeting.
