The coord<strong>in</strong>ator, Komal Mirza has been model<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> the <strong>Chicago</strong> land area s<strong>in</strong>ce the age of 3 for various<br />
agencies and had volunteered to take charge of the fashion show presented dur<strong>in</strong>g the bazaar.<br />
Hair and makeup for the models was done by Hiba Khan, owner of Eve Beauty Salon, located <strong>in</strong> Schaumburg.<br />
Eve Beauty Salon has been serv<strong>in</strong>g <strong>Chicago</strong> land s<strong>in</strong>ce over 15 years! They are a full service salon. Eve has<br />
recently started airbrush makeup that makes the beautiful models look flawless. We had the pleasure of gett<strong>in</strong>g<br />
a couple words from Hiba Khan, herself. "Do<strong>in</strong>g shows amongst the community is a great feel<strong>in</strong>g! When all the<br />
work is done and you see the beautiful models walk<strong>in</strong>g the runway, you know for sure that all of your hard<br />
work has paid off to its full extent. It makes me happy that the models appreciate my work and are so patient<br />
with me! I love what I do, because giv<strong>in</strong>g someone the right look plays a big part <strong>in</strong> how confidently they carry<br />
themselves."<br />
The fashion show showcased amaz<strong>in</strong>g designs by Parizays and their gorgeous wedd<strong>in</strong>g wear, located <strong>in</strong><br />
<strong>Chicago</strong>, Erma's Exclusive Collection for their beautiful party wear, located <strong>in</strong> Bol<strong>in</strong>gbrook, and a special<br />
thanks to Saris and Th<strong>in</strong>gs, located <strong>in</strong> Streamwood, for their wedd<strong>in</strong>g wear. They are a designer cloth<strong>in</strong>g rental<br />
boutique where you can rent out or buy saris, lehengas, blouses, accessories, and men's wear for a very<br />

The runway was made beautiful by the presence of all the professional models. 1st Runner Up Miss Teen India<br />

Memon, Hiba Khan, and Komal Mirza. Special thanks to Tim as the male model for the bridal segment. The<br />
models put a lot of hard work <strong>in</strong>to mak<strong>in</strong>g the show what it was and their efforts were much appreciated by<br />
the audience!<br />
Last but not least, the night was completed by DJ Ex-Tacy, Imran Waheed who was "Sp<strong>in</strong>n<strong>in</strong>g the tracks with<br />
f<strong>in</strong>esse" and had also been a great help backstage with the models, their families, and organizer, and the<br />
coord<strong>in</strong>ator.<br />

Zohra Shahzad<br />
She holds a masters and a law degree from Karachi, Pakistan. For a while, she held a legal advisor position at<br />
Dubai Bank Ltd. She spent the 18 years <strong>in</strong> Dubai organiz<strong>in</strong>g social and cultural programs which comprised of<br />
fame artists from both Pakistan and India. In UAB, she organized many successful events, which <strong>in</strong>cluded<br />
Neelam Ghar of Tariq Aziz, Bushra Ansari, Mo<strong>in</strong> Akhtar, and Masood Rana. She also organized Islamic and<br />
Literary Programs featur<strong>in</strong>g, Siddique Ismail, Shakir Qasmi, Fasiudd<strong>in</strong> Sohorwardi, Jamiludd<strong>in</strong> Aali and Fatima<br />
Suraiya Bajia. The concert of Madam Noorjahan was one of her milestone shows <strong>in</strong> Dubai. She had organized<br />
successful shows of Ali Hayder, Junaid Jamshed and Alamgir <strong>in</strong> Florida and New York, But moved to <strong>Chicago</strong><br />
after 9/11. Currently she works as an immigration Consultant. She also is the chairperson of Talent Circle, An<br />
organization who promote social, cultural religious, and educational activities.<br />
