Jade Mountain was made for rest and rejuvenation,
and in keeping with this philosophy, technology is
minimal (though guests can request telephone service
and Wi-fi at the front desk). Instead, the focus
is on the sweeping spaces, soothing and stylish
décor, and the private infinity pool or Jacuzzi available
in each room, depending on your choice of accommodations.
Guests can rest easy in the master
bedrooms’ plush, king-size canopy beds. All guest
bathrooms provide a whirlpool “chroma-therapy”
tub for two as well as state-of-the-art stainless
steel shower units with handmade glass tile walls.

Chef Allan Susser is the mastermind behind
“Jade Cuisine,” the resort’s moniker for their signature
style of fare: A blend of bold flavors, tropical
cultures and the utmost in fresh ingredients, many of
which are culled from an onsite organic garden. From
modern fusion cuisine to classic comforts like the
“best burger in the Caribbean,” there’s something on
the menu to please every palate. Meals are complemented
by an extensive beverage menu, which includes
freshly squeezed fruit juices and exotic elixirs,
chic cocktails, and a strong selection of local and international
wines, stored in a high-tech, temperaturecontrolled
wine cellar. For a truly above-and-beyond
culinary experience, guests can partake in one of the
chef’s “A Spoonful of Paradise” classes, which include
in-kitchen lessons as well as exclusive off-site field
trips—such as a fishing excursion, spice tours and a
hands-on chocolate making course.

boutique spa, kai en Ciel. With innovative
packages like “The ultimate ‘Forget the Outside
World’ Treatment”—which lasts nearly two hours
and includes a massage, face masque and reflexology

stress. From exotic therapies like a Chakra Balancing
Massage to more traditional indulgences such
as deluxe manicures and pedicures, there’s a spa

With its close proximity to two soft-sand beaches
and a gorgeous off-shore stretch of coral reef, Jade
Mountain is in a prime position for experiencing the
best that nature has to offer. Guests have access
to all amenities at Anse Chastanet, the site’s sister
resort, which includes such outdoor activities as a
jungle biking center, scuba center with a full diving
program, tennis, ocean kayaking and other watersports,
and sailing on the resort’s yacht. A whole
host of on-site weekly activities, complimentary for
all guests, heighten enjoyment of the resort and all
it has to offer. Start off a balanced day with one of
the resort’s group yoga sessions, which take place
six days a week from 7:00 to 8:00am on the Celestial
terrace, an outdoor space with 360° scenic views.
Monday evenings offer an elegant wine and canapé
reception from 6:00pm to 7:00pm, while foodies will
appreciate a Tuesday night cooking class with the
resort’s own Chef Jonathan. On Mondays, Thursdays
and Saturdays, guests can enjoy live entertainment
at the Jade Mountain Club.
