Participants in this workshop will learn about these terms and what they mean to your
work in a Early Learning Program. Find out why pedagogical documentation is important
in your day and how this will make children's learning visible and your professionalism
visible. Join us to create and share documentation in multiple ways including digital
documentation.

Diane has her Bachelors of Honours Degree from York University and then went on to obtain an
Early Childhood Diploma from Seneca College. Diane continued her education and received her
Masters and Doctorate in Education. Diane has published two textbooks:

She is now excited to be teaching at Ryerson University.
Guest Speaker: Rosalba Bortolotti
Rosalba is a RECE and pedagogical consultant who has worked in early education for over 20
years. She was the founder and owner of Acorn School, a Reggio inspired preschool in Ontario.
Over the years Rosalba has offered many study tours, workshops and conferences on many
different topics connected to the approach. Rosalba is a member of the York Region Nature
Collaborative and the Ontario Reggio Association.
