Bus Operations Subcommittee Minutes/Action Items September 15, 2015 1. Call to Order The meeting was called to order at 10:10 A.M. A quorum was present. 2. Chair’s Report Jane Leonard reported on the following items from the September 2, 2015 TAC meeting: • Wil Ridder, Metro, provided an update on the potential 2016 ballot measure. September 1, 2015 was the deadline for the Subregions, Regional Facilities and other stakeholders to submit their initial comments and project priorities for potential Ballot Measure consideration. • Rena Lum, Metro, reported on the 2015 Call for Projects. The funding recommendations will be taken to the Board for adoption on September 24, 2015. There are 88 projects for a request of approximately $202 million in funding. These projects include staff recommendations and four additional projects recommended by TAC at the July appeals. • Wil Ridder, Metro, reported that the California Transportation Commission (CTC) adopted a zero fund estimate. This means that $75 million in State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) funds that had been identified for the 2015 Call will not be awarded. The majority of these funds would have been available in FY20 and FY21.
