Located in the centre of Alnwick, one of the
most historic and beautiful towns in the north
of England, The Queens Head Hotel is an old
coaching inn dating back to the 16th century
and is the oldest pub in the town. Always a
regular stopping off point for travellers on the
Great North Road – today we proudly continue
the tradition of providing great food, beers and
comfortable accommodation.
Our welcoming staff will happily serve you a
selection of quality cask ales, great wines and
premium lagers in our cosy bars. Alternatively

in either our restaurant or bar areas. Wherever

prepared food using locally sourced produce of
the highest standard. Our ever popular traditional
basket meals are a real favourite and our Sunday
