Do you follow a
beauty routine?
I adore the Liz Earle
skincare range due to its
natural ingredients. I use a
combination of the Cleanse
& Polish hot cloth cleanser,
followed by the gentle face
exfoliator. I don’t often
wear make-up hence I
finish my daily routine
off with applying the Liz
Earle daily moisturiser. My
mother has always taught
me from an early age the
importance of moisturising,
she is 63 and barely has a
wrinkle on her, hopefully I
will follow in her footsteps!
Do you have a particular
product you couldn’t
live without?
My beauty therapist
Hannah from Just Heaven
in Cranbrook, introduced
me to the Payot Elixir,
which is a nourishing
face, body and hair oil.
I use this product every
day as its an ultra fine oil
enabling me to get dressed
immediately after use. I
love the scent of Myrrh
and Amyris. I first used
this product just before we
got married so it reminds
me of our honeymoon.
What’s your ultimate
pampering treat?
As I have two young
children I don’t often get
the chance to have a real
pamper session; I’m always
busy running after them!
So my ultimate treat at the
moment would be a night
away in The George in Rye,
a proper lie-in, followed by
a delicious breakfast in bed!
Who’s your style icon?
My style icon has to
be Jessica Alba, she
has beautiful olive skin
and always rocks the
natural look; whether
she is out on mummy
duties or hitting the red
carpet, she always looks
effortlessly glamorous!

Sage, or Salvia Officinalis,
is a herb native to the
Mediterranean, with an
ancient history of culinary
and medicinal use. The greygreen
edible plant is part of
the mint family and flowers
in a range of colours from
blue and purple to white
and pink. Historically it’s
been used to treat everything
from mental disorders to
gastrointestinal discomfort;
the ancient Egyptians used
it as a fertility drug, and a
sage tea has been known to
cure sore throats and coughs.
Use it as a garnish on salads,
or season poultry and fish
with it. Vegetables and beans
are particularly tasty when
slowly roasted with fresh sage
leaves. When growing it, full
sun and good drainage keeps
the plant happy, so it’s super
easy to look after. Pop to
your nearest health food shop
and grab some sage herb oil
to aid with aching muscles,
anxiety, stress and headaches.
