although the city experienced its greatest flowering in the Roman
period. We will commence our trip with the visit to Maribor, the
second biggest economy and cultural centre of Slovenia. We will
walk through the medieval area of Lent and visit the city centre.
After the sightseeing you will be accommodated in the hotel at the
outskirts of Maribor, next to the skiing slopes. Overnight.

DAY 7, WEDNESDAY, MARIBORSKO POHORJE:
Breakfast. Another morning dedicated to biking. Dynamic
terrain, crisscrossed by marked trails is an ideal choice for biking
challenges for families and adventurers. Enjoy the Pohorje Bike
Park trail, which runs about 4 km from the Bellevue Hotel all the
way to the base of Pohorje. All along the trail there are earthen and
wooden ramps that allow jumps up to 6 m. This is also the site of
Downhill Mountain bike world championship.

Distance: 4 km; Difficulty level: This is suitable for experienced
cyclists as well as those that would like to try it out for the
first time; Starting point: Upper stop of the Pohorje ski lift /
Bellevue Hotel
DAY 8, THURSDAY, MARIBORSKO POHORJE:
Breakfast. Today’s biking program brings a relaxed ride on an easy,
family-oriented bike route that leaves from in front of the Bellevue
Hotel and follows a marked route to the Maribor Lodge.
From the lodge, you ride along a wooded road towards the Jelka
Inn and Tisa Hotel, where you can stop for refreshments and
continue towards the Hoče Lodge.
From there you can follow the route to the Martin Inn and then
back to the Bellevue Hotel.

DAY 9, FRIDAY, MARIBORSKO POHORJE - ZAGREB:
After breakfast we will continue our tour to another capital –
Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. But first we will stop in Ormoz –
Jeruzalem for wine tasting. In this northeaster Slovenia the locals
are famous for vine producing since ancient times. The legend says
that the Crusaders on their way to the Holy Land stopped here
MUSEUM OF BROKEN RELATIONSHIPS
on the most beautiful hill to rest. Welcomed by hospitable hosts
who offered them the divine good wine, the Crusaders decided
to stay right there. The village, which was called Jerusalem, still is
considered to be an unforgettable place with wonderful views of
the surrounding vineyards.
Upon arrival to Zagreb, we will visit the city and its highlights such
as the fortified Upper Town - the city’s historical centre, St. Mark’s
Church with its famous roof, the Cathedral of the Assumption of
St. Mary, the Croatian National Theatre and the University. At the
end of this classical tour we invite you to the Museum of Broken
Relationships - dedicated to failed love relationships. Its exhibits
include personal objects left from former lovers, accompanied by
brief descriptions. The remainder of the evening at your leisure.
Check-in at the hotel and overnight.
DAY 10, SATURDAY, ZAGREB – APT ZAGREB:
In the morning after breakfast we head towards APT of Zagreb to
board your flight home.
DAY 1, THURSDAY, APT VENICE (ITA) / APT ZAGREB (CRO) / APT
LJUBLJANA - LJUBLJANA (SLO):
Arrival at APT of Venice / Zagreb / Ljubljana. Transfer to Ljubljana.
The rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Ljubljana.
DAY 2, FRIDAY, LJUBLJANA:
After breakfast we will visit the capital of Slovenia. The old city
centre has a unique architectural appearance, particularly due to
a felicitous combination of Baroque and Art Nouveau architecture
and masterful creations by the 20th century architect Joze Plecnik.
In the evening, we will take a walk to the Castle of Ljubljana to
enjoy a night sight over the capital. Welcome drink and some
local delicious specialities will be served in local restaurant on the
top of Ljubljana. We will descend from the castle on foot. Return
to the hotel.
DAY 3, SATURDAY, LJUBLJANA – BLED – KRANJSKA GORA:
After breakfast we will continue with our Slovenian fairy-tale and
visit the “Pearl of the Alps” - an exquisite glacier lake glittering in a
green valley of the Slovenian Alps. Bled is a simple resort with an

eminent medieval castle and a romantic island in the lake.
Bled has been attracting visitors with its breath-taking beauty
as well as with calm and inviting waters on which we will be
floating in traditional typical ‘pletna’ boats (OPTIONAL) as it has
been done since the 12th century. The Pletna (if the weather
conditions are favourable) will take us to the romantic island,
with an old church and mysterious wishing bell. Sightseeing in
Bled continues with a visit to the impressive castle, perched on
a cliff high above the lake. The journey continues to Kranjska
Gora – the most important Slovenian Ski resort and the best
destination for hiking and biking lovers. Overnight stay in the
hotel.
DAY 4, SUNDAY, KRANJSKA GORA:
Breakfast. This day we will start the first of our numerous activity
routes this program includes. Let’s start our way to Vršič along the
road towards Lake Jasna. The path climbs the side of Mala Pišnica
valley, but after twenty minutes of ascent it will lead through
the reef Vratnik an take us back to Kranjska gora. After a short
crossing of the inclined slopes, the landslide rises steeply to the
