century, the American
Pitbull Terrier was noted for having the gameness*
ofaTerrier and the athletic abilities and strength of
a Bulldog. Their versatile talents made them a
favorite of farmers and ranchers. They were used
as protection, livestock driving, and family
companions.

This breed exhibits strength, courage, agility and
grace. Despite that is considered to be a dangerous dog for people, it is a friendly, extremely loyal,
deeply devoted, affectionate, intelligent, and good-natured dog. They will get along with other
dogs they have been raised with and with older children.
If you get a pitbull, you'll have to give an intensive and an early socialization and an obedience
training. Your dog will require alot of exercise to keep them happy such as leashed walks, hiking
and mountain-biking. Your dog will needalot of attention and stimulation, too.
