3,5 mm steel enamel guarantees unsurpassed stability<br />
Steel and enamel are bonded at a molecular level and cannot be mechanically separated from one another<br />
Kaldewei steel enamel 3,5 mm has a considerably higher density than acrylic (see Mohs scale)<br />
ACID AND CHEMICAL RESISTANT<br />
Kaldewei steel enamel 3,5 mm is acid resistant in accordance<br />
with DIN ISO 2722, Class AA (highest value rating)<br />
Resistant against all cosmetics and medical bath products and<br />
perfumes that can be used on human skin (e.g. hair colouring<br />
solution or nail polish)<br />
HYGIENIC, LOW MAINTENANCE AND ANTISTATIC<br />
Kaldewei steel enamel 3,5 mm with easy-clean finish: water droplets<br />
form beads and simply roll down the sides, taking virtually all<br />
dirt and lime particles with them<br />
Baths made out of Kaldewei steel enamel 3,5 mm do not become<br />
statically charged and they repel dust during dry cleaning<br />
HEAT RESISTANT<br />
Burning and glowing objects like cigarettes or candles do not<br />
leave marks on the surface<br />
COLOURFAST AND LIGHTFAST<br />
Enamel is extremely resistant to aging: the shrine for the “Three<br />
Magi” in Cologne Cathedral (dating from the year 600) adorned<br />
with jewelled enamel bears impressive witness to this<br />
The colour effect (shine and structure) and colour metamery<br />
(change in colour as a result of different actions of light) are<br />
adapted precisely to ceramic glosses. Kaldewei Steel enamel is<br />
both colourfast and UV resistant – it does not fade, compared to<br />
acrylic, which can change<br />
