IMPACT RESISTANT
Kaldewei steel enamel 3,5 mm passed the “Firing pin and impact
test” in accordance with DIN ISO 4532 without issue
SCRATCH PROOF AND ABRASION PROOF
It is near impossible to scratch Kaldewei baths and shower trays
using common materials in the bathroom
If metal rubs on enamel, the metal rubs off; the enamel is unaffected
WATER AND MATERIAL TEMPERATURE
Steel is an excellent conductor of heat and quickly assumes the
water temperature
When the water cools down, the heat absorbed flows back into
the water
Consumer tests showed that even the back supports above the
water surface warm up
The cooling behaviour of the water is identical to steel, cast iron
and acrylic baths as the warmth of the water almost exclusively
escapes via the water surface
GLASS-LIKE
Kaldewei steel enamel 3,5 mm possesses the same properties as
real glass shower enclosures, tiles and ceramic so that there is a
uniform material aesthetic throughout the entire bathroom
