During the period from April, <strong>2014</strong><br />
to December,<strong>2014</strong>, in exercise of the<br />
powers conferred by Sub-Section 2<br />
of Section 14 of the Indian Medicine<br />
Central Council Act, 1970 (48 of<br />
1970), the Central Government after<br />
consulting the Central Council of<br />
Indian Medicine, the recognized/<br />
i n c l u d e d 0 3 ( t h re e ) m e d i c a l<br />
qualifications of Ayurved in the 2nd<br />
Schedule to the Indian Medicine<br />
Central Council Act, 1970.<br />
During this period, in exercise of the<br />
powers conferred by Sub-Section 2<br />
Section 16 of the Indian Medicine<br />
Central Council Act, 1970 (48 of<br />
1970), the Central council agreed to<br />
recognize the B.A.M.S Ayurveda<br />
Medical Qualification conducted by<br />
Tribhuvan University, Nepal to<br />
include under IV Schedule of IMCC<br />
ACT. This kind of Qualifications<br />
outside India is recognized after<br />
1991.<br />
During the period from April,<strong>2014</strong><br />
to December,<strong>2014</strong>, Central Register<br />
of the following States for the period<br />

During April,<strong>2014</strong> to December,<br />
<strong>2014</strong>, 428 Enrolment Certificates<br />
have been issued to practitioners of<br />
Ayurved, Unani and Siddha whose<br />
names are included in the Central<br />
Register of Indian Medicine on the<br />
basis of registration with State<br />
Board/Council.<br />

and Siddha graduates of those<br />
States, where State Board/Council,<br />
does not exist.<br />

A book on Standard Treatment<br />
Guidelines in Ayurveda has been<br />
prepared and released in the 6th<br />
World Ayurved Congress held on 6th<br />
November, <strong>2014</strong> at New Delhi. This<br />
book was prepared for 28 diseases<br />
and edited by experts of various<br />
Institutions across the country.<br />
Regional Centres for Training to<br />
Teachers Programme-(TTT Centres)<br />
have been appointed inviting and<br />
evaluating applications among<br />
