Food takes
flight
Whether at Laguna Phuket’s newest restaurant
watching the golfers and the children play – at
a safe distance from each other – or ordering a
takeaway pizza that will travel to you by tuk-tuk,
the dining options at Laguna Phuket are broader
and tastier than ever.
Stone-grill sizzlers
THE CONCEPT of family dining has been
given an impressive new twist at @17th,
the latest addition to the array of restau-
rants at Laguna Phuket.
Home for the stylish and refeshing
open-air dining facility is Laguna’s newest
resort, the Laguna Holiday Club Phuket
Resort, and as its name suggests, @17th
sits just a well-played wedge shot away
from the Laguna Phuket Golf Course.
As well as watching golfers attempt to
avoid a watery fate on the 17th fairway,
diners can also see their children frolic on a
curling water slide or in the large pool that
separates the restaurant and the golf club.
Large lagoon-side pool
The Laguna Holiday Club Resort Kids
Club extends outdoors alongside the res-
taurant, allowing parents from all over
the Laguna Phuket precinct the novel op-
portunity to look on as other people en-
tertain their offspring, and at the same
time indulge in a meal that will not burst
the holiday budget.
It can be an entrancing kind of meal,
too, sometimes entertaining and always
fun. The @17th restaurant offers a novel
treat: stone-grill dining, an extremely
healthy alternative that hands ultimate
control of the meal back to the individual
who will consume it.
RESORT DINING
A New Restaurant
@17th: where children and golfers play
Serves of salmon, steak, chicken and ti-
ger prawns sear and sizzle on lava stones
at the table, an enthralling experience
that makes the cooking and consuming of
the main meal and dessert memorable.
Sunday afternoon barbeques, the ca-
pacity to bring your own wine, and an at-
titude that mixes relaxed holiday dining
with five-star service make @17th an ideal
venue for guests to greet expat resident
friends, or for a casual business meeting
over breakfast or lunch.
