Calling all
residents in
Hackney!
Join the Council’s Hackney Matters Panel today and earn
a reward for having your say.
Hackney Matters is an online community made up
of residents from a range of backgrounds and ages,
who regularly complete surveys about Council services.
Issues addressed include the future of Hackney’s
streets, roads, parks, education and public health. Panel
members have access to a dedicated website where they
Almost 200 residents have signed up to be part
of the Hackney Matters panel, taking the total
number of members to over 1,500. The surveys
are completed online in panel members’ own
time, although they will occasionally be invited
into the Council for focus groups and events.
Panel members are rewarded for giving their
time to the community by being entered into
free prize draws and competitions. We are also
working in partnership with Reward Your World, a
reward programme where members can collect
Betterpoints and over time redeem points in
exchange for vouchers that can be spent on the
high street or donated as cash to a local cause or
charity.
