Maharashtra, Gujarat, Delhi, Maharashtra has the maximum sewage treatment capacity. Detailed break-up of STPs state -wise is placed in Table 3. Figure 4 depicts installed capacity distribution among different stated of India and Figure 5 show the number of STPs among different states of India.
