CAT09e DESIGN COMPLETED
After three months of hard work,
CAT09e’s design has been completed.
Since this past September, the team has
been focusing on redesigning the car in
order to enhance several parts of the car
and validate the models obtained. All
these changes have been made and
justified with the aim to ensure an
optimum design. Instead of performing
big changes, the team has opted to make
several modifications with which they are
positive they will achieve a better
performance in the competitions and a
more reliable car.
COLLABORATION WITH CETRENCADA - PUNT AVUI
The team collaborated with
Pompeu Fabra’s University Journalism
students to develop an article for the
“Cetrencada” section of Punt Avui’s
Newspaper. These journalism students
came to ETSEIB Motorsport’s facilities at
University to interview part of the team,
learn about Formula Student and get to
know the team and its organisation.
Moreover, they also visited other Catalan
Formula Student teams to get a general
view of the competition and spot the
different ways to lead and organize each
team.

publication of the article, which will be
released in the printed newspaper and

COLOGNE PROFESSIONAL MOTORSPORT WORLD EXPO
The past November 13th, part
of the team travelled to Cologne to
assist the Professional Motorsport
World Expo.
present in the event and the team had
the chance to chat with them and
share ideas and concerns of this new
season.
Besides, the local Formula
Student team, eMotorsports Cologne,
welcomed the team their workshop at
their University. It was a very nice
meeting and a great chance to go
through some memories about the
last competitions and talk about the
aims for this summer.
It was a great opportunity to
get in touch personally with many
companies related to the motorsport
world. The team also attended various
workshops, where they could learn a
bit more about the motorsport world,
simulations, composite materials,
wind tunnels and telemetry within
other topics of interest. Some other
Formula Student teams were also
CAMPOS RACING
On December 1st, ETSEIB
Motorsport had the chance to visit
Campos Racing’s facilities in l’Ametlla
del Vallès. Campos Racing is a Spanish
motor racing team founded by former
Formula 1 driver Adrián Campos.
Nowadays, they compete in various
championships such as Formula E,
GP2, GP3, WTCC and TCR, as well as
offering masters to extend graduates'
formation.
They were very welcoming and
showed their willingness to assist
ETSEIB Motorsport on their project.
The team is very grateful for their time
and believes their help and support
will be very useful to develop this new
season’s car.
