O FICIAL PARTNER MAKE UP WITH CHARLOTTE THERESE THE LIVERP FASH HION OOL WE EK 36 Working as a make-up artist for Liverpool Fashion Week was an amazing experience, and being behind the scenes in such a busy environment is challenging, although it is the perfect way to practice and perfect some skilled artistry! One of our make-up designs was the classical flicked liner, 'smoked' eye-shadow, bold lip combo. Possibly one of the most traditional looks that has been with us for years, yet still seems to baffle so many of us! So, the best advice I can give to all of you make-up lovers out there is this... lots and lots of PRACTISE! Don't give up the first time your flicks end up looking like stray hairs hanging awkwardly down the side of your face (we've all been there), power on and don't give up trying. Eventually you will find the product and style that is right for you; my personal favourite is gel eyeliner as it blends really well for more of a soft finish, or you can pair it with a thin angled brush to achieve that really sharp flick. When it comes to eye-shadow, the key is to blend blend, and blend some more, that is a crucial part of achieving that beautiful soft 'smokey 'eye we all know and love! Make-up is all about finding your comfort zone and your confidence, once you find that, you will never look back.
