Meadow Prospect Grant
Meadow Prospect grants are awarded to
initiatives that:
• Make a difference in the community
• Support learning and development
projects, improving employment
• Offer sporting opportunities to
young people and other groups in
disadvantaged areas
• Tackle health and wellbeing projects
such as healthy eating, substance
misuse etc
• Tackle renewable energy and/or
address fuel poverty
• Assist new social enterprises to
become established and offer
employment opportunities.

Tower Fund Grants
The Tower Fund is a pot of money
available to the communities of Hirwaun,
Penderyn, Rhigos and Penywaun in
the Cynon valley. The fund supports
community projects – from social
enterprises, ‘green’ energy schemes and

As part of it’s commitment to support
other former mining communities in South
Wales, there is also the ‘Common Fund’.
