ACTIVITIES Parent’s Information Club Energy and Soccer Camps are available at all our venues. Simply choose between individual days or a week at Club Energy, Soccer Camp or a combination of the two! Although both courses are run separately, children from both camps will be together during the signing in and out, lunch and extended day periods. SETTLING IN We understand some children may find the prospect of attending anything new a bit daunting. To ease any potential worries all children are greeted at registration and introduced to the SCL team and other children through ice breaker games and a welcome talk. Children will enjoy the days programme in groups of similar ages where they can spend time with existing friends and make new ones too! These are our typical age groups: 4 - 5 YEARS COMMITTED, CARING TEAM SCL have been running holiday activities for more than 10 years and has 50+ full time staff working at our venues. In addition, our assistant staff consists of early years and primary teachers, SCL apprentices and university students studying sports and childcare qualifications. Outside of their work during the holidays, our staff work day in, day out with children aged 4-12 years delivering PE lessons and extra-curricular clubs at over 130 Schools and Nurseries across the South East. Members of the team are: • Checked with the Criminal Records Bureau to enhanced level • Registered and checked by OFSTED • Trained in Child Protection & First Aid qualified • Trained in Health & Safety, Behaviour Management and SCL programme delivery • Senior staff: NVQ level 3 in Play work • Soccer Camp: FA qualified coaches EXCELLENT FACILITIES 6 - 8 YEARS 9 - 12 YEARS Each SCL venue has specifically been chosen to accommodate our wide range of activities. All have large indoor and outdoor areas – so the fun doesn’t stop for bad weather! All venues are registered and inspected by OFSTED. STANDARD & EXTENDED DAY Our Standard Day runs from 10:00am to 16:00pm; however you have the option of an Extended Day facility running from 08:30am – 17:30pm. Our Extended Day allows parents greater flexibility, with drop off times between the hours of 08:30am – 10:00am and collection times between the hours of 16.00pm – 17:30pm. To maintain correct staffing ratios, standard day times are not flexible. If you need to drop off your child earlier or collect later extended day prices apply. During our Extended Day children play quieter, more relaxed games and activities under the supervision of SCL staff. Extended Day Activities include: • Nintendo Wii • Chill Out Den • Books & Magazines • Didi Cars • Toys • Arts & Crafts • Board Games • SCL Quiz • Movies • Giant Connect 4 • Basketball Challenge • Challenge the Coach QUALITY ASSURANCE SCL holiday courses are governed by specialist regulating authorities to ensure childcare and coaching is of the highest standard: Ofsted registered childcare provider CHARTER STANDARD HOLIDAY COURSES WHAT TO BRING Club Energy is an Ofsted registered childcare provider which means all of our sites have to adhere to their thorough standards to ensure your child is safe, happy and entertained during their time with us. Our Soccer Camps have obtained the FA Charter Standard Mark which ensures the delivery and content of our courses are of the high standard set by the Football Association. • Packed lunch with ice pack – please ensure NO NUT PRODUCTS. • Snacks and non-fizzy drinks in a reusable bottle or flask. • Named, comfortable clothing, appropriate to the weather conditions. • Children attending Soccer Camp should bring trainers, football boots if they have them and wear shin pads.
