ACTIVITIES<br />
Parent’s In<strong>for</strong>mation<br />
Club Energy and Soccer Camps are available at all our venues. Simply<br />
choose between individual days or a week at Club Energy, Soccer Camp or a<br />
combination of the two! Although both courses are run separately, <strong>children</strong><br />
from both camps will be together during the signing in and out, lunch and<br />
extended day periods.<br />
SETTLING IN<br />
We understand some <strong>children</strong> may find the prospect of attending anything<br />
new a bit daunting. To ease any potential worries all <strong>children</strong> are greeted at<br />
registration and introduced to the <strong>SCL</strong> team and other <strong>children</strong> through ice<br />
breaker games and a welcome talk. Children will enjoy the days programme<br />
in groups of similar ages where they can spend time with existing friends and<br />
make new ones too! These are our typical age groups:<br />
4 - 5 YEARS<br />
COMMITTED, CARING TEAM<br />
<strong>SCL</strong> have been running <strong>holiday</strong> <strong>activities</strong> <strong>for</strong> more than 10 years and has 50+<br />
full time staff working at our venues. In addition, our assistant staff consists<br />
of early years and primary teachers, <strong>SCL</strong> apprentices and university students<br />
studying sports and childcare qualifications.<br />
Outside of their work during the <strong>holiday</strong>s, our staff work day in, day out with<br />
<strong>children</strong> <strong>aged</strong> 4-<strong>12</strong> years delivering PE lessons and extra-curricular clubs at<br />
over 130 Schools and Nurseries across the South East.<br />
Members of the team are:<br />
• Checked with the Criminal Records Bureau to enhanced level<br />
• Registered and checked by OFSTED<br />
• Trained in Child Protection & First Aid qualified<br />
• Trained in Health & Safety, Behaviour Management and <strong>SCL</strong> programme delivery<br />

6 - 8 YEARS 9 - <strong>12</strong> YEARS<br />
Each <strong>SCL</strong> venue has specifically been chosen to accommodate our wide range of<br />
<strong>activities</strong>. All have large indoor and outdoor areas – so the fun doesn’t stop <strong>for</strong> bad<br />
weather! All venues are registered and inspected by OFSTED.<br />
STANDARD & EXTENDED DAY<br />
Our Standard Day runs from 10:00am to 16:00pm; however you have the<br />
option of an Extended Day facility running from 08:30am – 17:30pm. Our<br />
Extended Day allows parents greater flexibility, with drop off times between<br />
the hours of 08:30am – 10:00am and collection times between the hours of<br />
16.00pm – 17:30pm.<br />
To maintain correct staffing ratios, standard day times are not flexible. If you<br />
need to drop off your child earlier or collect later extended day prices apply.<br />
During our Extended Day <strong>children</strong> play quieter, more relaxed games and<br />
<strong>activities</strong> under the supervision of <strong>SCL</strong> staff.<br />

Club Energy is an Ofsted registered childcare provider<br />
which means all of our sites have to adhere to their<br />
thorough standards to ensure your child is safe, happy and<br />
entertained during their time with us.<br />
Our Soccer Camps have obtained the FA Charter Standard<br />
Mark which ensures the delivery and content of our courses<br />
are of the high standard set by the Football Association.<br />
• Packed lunch with ice pack – please ensure NO NUT PRODUCTS.<br />
• Snacks and non-fizzy drinks in a reusable bottle or flask.<br />
• Named, com<strong>for</strong>table clothing, appropriate to the weather conditions.<br />
• Children attending Soccer Camp should bring trainers, football boots<br />
if they have them and wear shin pads.<br />
