Airtel Africa’s ‘Our
School’ programme
Airtel Africa is opening doors to a brighter future for underpriviledged children
In 2010, Airtel Africa introduced its
flagship programme ‘Our School’,
a school adoption initiative. It
aimed at improving the quality of
education imparted to children from
underprivileged communities. Since
its launch, the Company had adopted
45 rural primary schools across 17
African countries which cater to more
than 24,500 children.
Bharti Institute of Public
Policy, ISB Mohali
Bharti Enterprises partnered with
Indian School of Business (ISB)
to set up ‘Bharti Institute of Public
Policy’ (BIPP) in December 2010.
ISB signed a MoU with The Fletcher
School of Law & Diplomacy, Tufts
University, USA to set up the institute
at ISB’s campus in Mohali.

Satya Bharti Learning Centres
In 2013, Bharti Foundation started ‘Satya
Bharti Learning Centres’ for conducting
remedial learning programme in close
partnership with ‘Educate A Child’ - a global
initiative launched by Her Highness Sheikha
Moza bint Nasser of Qatar. The programme
aims at bridging the learning gap for out of
school children and mainstream them into
regular schools. Under the initiative, over
800 government schools have so far been
covered benefitting over 20,000 children.
