In the spotlight winner of the month 

My name is Aleksandra, I’m 25 years old, originally from 

Russia. 

For me as a photographer it’s very important to stay on the 

same vibe, to get connected and to find unique approach to 

every person I work with and to try to open the most 

beautiful sides of every person about which he or she are 

usually not even aware. 

The most important thing for me is to make my client happy 

and speechless with the result of the photo shoot. 

I’m still looking for my style in photography and I hope that 

this process will never end, because when I will start being 

satisfied with every single photo I take, I will stop developing. 

Through some of my photography projects I’m trying to 

express and understand myself as well. Some of my projects 

where I was showing the themes that meant a lot to me, 

helped me to heal the wounds and to resolve some of my 

inner conflicts. And while having them exhibited in the 

galleries and hearing the feedbacks from the people, I 

realised that if at least one person could feel the same that I 

was feeling while looking at my photos, then everything I do 

isn’t for nothing. I will try to post some of that photo shoots 

with explanation about them later on in my blog. 

And to sum up: currently I’m working as a freelance 

photographer in The Netherlands, based in Amsterdam. My 

clients are fashion designers, clothes brands, DJ’s, singers, 

actors and of course people who want to have beautiful 

pictures of themselves.
