17 JANUARY <strong>2016</strong><br />

Director of A Cut Above Salon & Academy, Datin Winnie Loo, rang<br />

in her 60th birthday with her family and friends in a Hollywood Glamthemed<br />

party. About 200 guests were present at the party from family<br />

members to local celebrities, making the birthday celebration a truly<br />

star-studded affair. Amongst the familiar faces at the party included<br />

Chui Ling, Malaysia’s famous TV and radio personality; Steve Wee,<br />

Founder of Brand Yourself Agency; Crystal Lee, Malaysian actress and<br />

winner of the Best Actress at the Shanghai International Film Festival;<br />

and Dennis Lau, electric violinist and songwriter.<br />

During her birthday celebration, Datin Winnie Loo revealed<br />

the latest colour collections from A Cut Above, with models<br />

showcasing the bold and vibrant designs from the salon through a<br />

15-minute catwalk that captured the attention of everyone in the<br />

room. “Besides celebrating my 60th birthday, I am also celebrating<br />

my 40th year in the hair industry and I am happy to share this<br />

milestone with you today,” said Datin Winnie.<br />
