1. SUBJECT MATTER OF THE APPROVAL<br />

The subject m<strong>at</strong>ter of this Technical Approval ITB are wooden doors and h<strong>at</strong>ches<br />

and segments of fixed partitions of the mcr DREW system manufactured by producers th<strong>at</strong><br />

belong to MERCOR SA, with its registered office in Gdańsk, ul. Grzegorza z Sanoka 2.<br />

This Approval concerns the following products:<br />

a) fire, internal hinged doors mcr DREW PLUS EI30 (Figures 1-10), single or double<br />

leaf, left or right, with or without reb<strong>at</strong>e (options I and II), with or without a threshold,<br />

with a falling sl<strong>at</strong>, with a wooden or steel door frame:<br />

- solid, types: mcr DREW PLUS DP1 EI30 (with suitable anti-burglary hardware)<br />

and mcr DREW PLUS DP2 EI30,<br />

- glazed, types: mcr DREW PLUS DP1/P EI30 and mcr DREW PLUS DP2/P EI30,<br />

b) fire, internal hinged doors mcr DREW PLUS EI60 (Figures 1-10), single or double<br />

leaf, left or right, with or without reb<strong>at</strong>e, with or without a threshold, with a falling sl<strong>at</strong>,<br />

with a wooden or steel door frame:<br />

door in the opening 4.76 m 2 ); the maximum dimensions of a double leaf door leaf<br />

cannot exceed 1075 x 2500 mm (the maximum leaf area 2.5 m 2 ),<br />

e) internal entrance hinged doors mcr DREW-WW (Figures 1, 2, 11-13, 17-21), single<br />

leaf with the dimension in the opening not exceeding 1250 x 2850 (width x height),

door not exceeding 3500 mm, with our without a side transom (transparent or non-<br />

transparent), with a wooden or steel door frame:<br />

- solid, types: mcr DREW-WW-01, mcr DREW-WW-04, mcr DREW-WW-06, mcr<br />

DREW-WW-07, mcr DREW-WW-08, mcr DREW-WW-09, and mcr DREW-WW-<br />

10,<br />

- glazed: mcr DREW-WW-02, mcr DREW-WW-03 and mcr DREW-WW-05;<br />

f) internal doors mcr DREW-WL (Figures 1, 11, 12, 14-16, 18-21), single leaf with the<br />

dimension in the opening not exceeding 1250 X 2850 (width x height), and double<br />

leaf doors with the dimension in the opening not exceeding 2600 x 2850, left or right,<br />

with or without reb<strong>at</strong>e, with or without a threshold, with or without a falling sl<strong>at</strong>, with<br />

or without a top transom (transparent or non-transparent), with the total height of a<br />

door not exceeding 3500 mm, with our without a side transom (transparent or non-<br />

transparent), with a wooden or steel door frame:<br />

- hinged, solid, types: mcr DREW-WL/UN-1, mcr DREW-WL/RT7-2 and mcr<br />

DREW-WL-RT7-3, mcr DREW-WL/HA-4, mcr DREW-WL/PM-5, mcr DREW-<br />

WL/VL-6, mcr DREW-WL/AN-7, mcr DREW-WL/KT-8, and mcr DREW-WL/PP-<br />

9,<br />

- hinged, glazed, types: mcr DREW-WL/RO-10 and DREW-WL/CP-12 and made<br />

of a glass panel mcr DREW WL/SZKŁO-13,<br />

- sliding mcr DREW-WL/PZ-11;<br />

g) fire segments of fixed partitions, type mcr DREW SGM, types: mcr DREW SGM<br />

EI30 (figure 32) and mcr DREW SGM EI60 (figure 33), and<br />

h) segments of fixed partitions, type mcr DREW SGM BO (figures 30 and 31).<br />

The <strong>technical</strong> parameters of the above-mentioned doors and segments have been<br />

specified in Item 3.<br />

1.2. Wooden doors mcr DREW PLUS EI30<br />

Leaves of the doors mcr DREW PLUS EI 30 can be made in three options th<strong>at</strong><br />

fe<strong>at</strong>ure different filling:<br />

a) option I — filing made of HALSPAN EI30 board, 44 mm thick, covered along the<br />

vertical and horizontal upper edge with a wooden sl<strong>at</strong> made of either hardwood<br />

or softwood, minimum thickness 7 mm,<br />

b) option II — filing made of pine sawn timber, 26 mm thick and minimum density<br />

420 kg/m 3 , covered on both sides with MDF boards, 10 mm thick, the whole<br />

element connected with glue of minimum endurance of D3 class, or<br />

c) option III — filling made of mineral wool, minimum density <strong>15</strong>0 kg/m 3 and 35 mm<br />

thick, placed in a sill made of pine timber, minimum density 420 kg/m 3 and cross-<br />

section 95 x 35 mm, in case of the upper and vertical sills and 145 x 35 in case<br />

of the lower sill, covered on both sides with MDF boards, 5 mm thick, the whole<br />

element connected with the above-mentioned glue.

The surface of doors may be finished with n<strong>at</strong>ural or modified veneer, paper foil,<br />

HPL, CPL or PVC (0.2-1 mm thick), lamin<strong>at</strong>e, profiled MDF boards, HDF or plywood<br />

(maximum thickness 45 mm), wooden sl<strong>at</strong>s (maximum thickness 20 mm), paint or lacquer<br />

co<strong>at</strong>ings. The thickness of a leaf, depending on the filling and finish, amounts to 43-85 mm.<br />

amount to:<br />

The dimensions of doors mcr DREW PLUS EI30 in the opening (width x height)<br />

a) single leaf doors, types mcr DREW PLUS DP1 EI30 and mcr DREW PLUS<br />

DP1/P EI30:<br />

- with the filling according to option I (300-1200) x (400-2400) mm,<br />

- with the filling according to option II, the maximum dimension: 1160 x 2670 mm<br />

(with the leaf area not larger than 2.8 m 2 ), or<br />

- with the filling according to option III (600-1200) x (1000-2400) mm.<br />

b) double leaf doors, types mcr DREW PLUS DP2 EI30 and mcr DREW PLUS<br />

DP2/P EI30:<br />

- with the filling according to option I and II (300-1200) x (1000-2400) mm, or<br />

- with the filling according to option III (1200-2200) x (700-2300) mm.<br />

1.2.1. Door mcr DREW PLUS EI30 with the filling according to options I and II<br />

Single leaf door with the filling according to option II have vertical edges of leaves<br />

secured with sl<strong>at</strong>s made of hardwood, 12 mm thick, while double leaf doors have edges<br />

secured in the same manner, however the lock-side edge has a glued sl<strong>at</strong>, 25 mm thick.<br />

Sl<strong>at</strong>s of door boards in option II of the filling are laid vertically, and only along the<br />

upper and lower horizontal edge of a leave the sl<strong>at</strong>s are laid horizontally, forming a sill 105<br />

mm wide.<br />

As regards the door stop of a double leaf door, on the passive and active leaf there<br />

is a swelling gasket, type INTERDENS 36 by DR. WOOLMANN, PALUSOL 100 by ODICE,<br />

Promaseal PI by Prom<strong>at</strong> or a graphite gasket by MARVON, LORIENT or GLUSKE, section<br />

10 x 2 mm.<br />

In doors without a threshold, a falling gasket can be installed according to figure 26<br />

in the lower part of the leaf, which fulfils the requirements of the standard PN-EN 12365-<br />

1:2006, type: Schall — Ex P28 by Athmer, Deventer Bodenturdichtung DRS <strong>15</strong>28 SL by<br />

INTER DEVENTER, ELLEN – MATIC – UNIVERSAL, ELLEN – MATIC – PRIMERA or<br />

ELLEN – MATIC – EXTRA by ELLEN or type: A05001, A0551, A0581, A1001, A1051,<br />

A1061, A<strong>15</strong>02, A<strong>15</strong>21, A<strong>15</strong>22, A<strong>15</strong>42, A<strong>15</strong>52, A2032, A2042, A2552, A3552, A4002 or<br />

A4052 by Dom<strong>at</strong>ic.<br />

Doors of types DREW PLUS DP1/P and mcr DREW PLUS DP2/P EI30 can fe<strong>at</strong>ure<br />

glazing made of glass: SSG Contraflam 30, minimum thickness 16 mm, by VETROTECH<br />

SAINT-GOBAIN (for the filling in option II), Pyrobel 16, minimum thickness 16 mm by AGC<br />

or Pyrostop F30, minimum thickness <strong>15</strong> mm, by Pilklington.<br />

The maximum dimensions of glazing for the doors mcr DREW PLUS DP1/P EI30<br />

and mcr DREW PLUS DP2/P EI30 should not be gre<strong>at</strong>er than (wide x height) 750 x 1800<br />

mm, for the filling of option I, and 500 x 1000 mm for the filling in the option II. As regards<br />

glazing in a round opening, the maximum diameter should not be gre<strong>at</strong>er than 360 mm. The

distance of glazing from the upper edge and the vertical edges of a leaf should not be lower<br />

than 200 mm for the filling in option I and 240 mm for the filling in option II, while along the<br />

lower edge of the glazing — 390 mm.<br />

The glazing is fixed and finished with wooden or MDF glazing sl<strong>at</strong>s and sealed with<br />

ceramic gaskets: 8 x 4 mm by CGI Intern<strong>at</strong>ional Ltd, 20 x 3 by Jansen, Keramikpapier or<br />

Fibrefax, KERAFIX 2000, section 8 x 4 mm or KERAFIXPAPER, section 10 x 2 mm, by<br />

Gluske or with sealing mass, 2 mm thick, by Sealmaster Fireglaze. A swelling gasket is<br />

installed along the perimeter of a glazing: PROMATECT HT, 1.6 mm thick by Prom<strong>at</strong>,<br />

Glazing Seals or K board, 3 mm thick by Halspan Ltd, Therm-A Line, 2 mm thick by<br />

Intumescent Seals Ltd or KERAFIX FXL 200, 1 mm thick, by Gluske.<br />

Mcr DREW PLUS EI30 doors may be fitted with a non-transparent transom, of<br />

maximum height 800 mm. A transom panel is made of HALSPAN board, 54 mm thick. The<br />

option of producing the mcr DRW PLUS EI30 doors with a non-transparent transom has<br />

been presented in figure 8.<br />

The following frames are applied in doors mcr DREW PLUS EI30:<br />

- steel door frames made of metal sheet, 1.5 mm thick, corner, embracing or<br />

block, of sections according to figure 24,<br />

- wooden, of minimum section 44 x 102 mm and according to figure 26, made of<br />

solid or glued softwood, of minimum density 350 kg/m 3 , or hardwood of minimum<br />

density 400 kg/m 3 , or made of plywood boards of P2 type, minimum density 350<br />

kg/m 3 , in case of doors with the filling according to option III; wooden frames can<br />

be fitted additionally with a masking frame th<strong>at</strong> forms an embracing door frame,<br />

trims or masking quarter rounds.<br />

Doors with the filling according to option I fe<strong>at</strong>ure in the upper and vertical edges of<br />

a leaf or a door frame one of the following swelling gaskets:<br />

- Promasel PL, section 10 x 2 mm or 20 x 2 mm, by Prom<strong>at</strong> PL,<br />

- Brandex, section 10 x 2 mm or 20 x 2 mm, by Brandex,<br />

- Fire Seal, section 10 x 4 mm or 20 x 4 mm, by Halspan Ltd,<br />

- Tecnoflame, section 10 x 2 mm or 20 x 2 mm, by Marvon, or<br />

- Lorient, type 617, section 10 x 4 mm or 20 x 4 mm, by Lorient.<br />

Moreover, in the dap of steel door frames there is a pressing gasket by INTER<br />

DEVENTER, type S 8455/O or S 6612/O, and in the dap of wooden frames there is a<br />

gasket by INTER DEVENTER, type: S 6850/O or S 6612/O or KDA7T by A i B.<br />

Doors with the filing according to option II fe<strong>at</strong>ure door frames fitted with swelling<br />

gaskets, section 10 x 2, type: INTERDENS 36, by DR. WOOLMANN, PALUSOL 100 by<br />

ODICE, Promaseal PI by Prom<strong>at</strong> or a graphite gasket by MARVON, LORIENT or GLUSKE<br />

and in the dap of steel door frames there is a pressing gasket, type: S 8455/O or S 6612/O<br />

by Inter Deventer, KDA3, KDA7T or KA88 by A i B, and in wooden door frames types: S<br />

6850/O or S 6612/O by Inter Deventer, KDA3, KDA7T or KA88 by A i B.<br />

As regards smoke tight doors (doors made with the filling according to option II), the<br />

following swelling gaskets are applied:<br />

- Lorient, type 617, section 10 x 4 mm or 20 x 4 mm, by LORIENT,

- Fire Seal, section 10 x 4 mm or 20 x 4 mm, by Halspan Ltd,<br />

- Tecnoflame, section 10 x 2 mm or 20 x 2 mm, by Marvon, or<br />

- Pyroplex, section 10 x 4 mm or 20 x 4 mm, by Pyroplex.<br />

Additionally, in the dap of steel door frames there is a pressure gasket type S<br />

8455/O or S 6612/O by INTER DEVENTER, and in the dap of wooden frames a gasket type<br />

S 6850/O or S 6612/O by INTER DEVENTER.<br />

Door frames can be finished with n<strong>at</strong>ural or modified veneer, lamin<strong>at</strong>e, painting or<br />

lacquer co<strong>at</strong>ings, paper foil, HPL, CPL or PVC.<br />

A threshold in a door with a threshold should be made of solid hardwood. The<br />

methods of producing a door in the threshold section have been shown in figure 26.<br />

fitted with:<br />

Doors of the type mcr DREW PLUS EI30, with the filling according to option II, are<br />

b) l<strong>at</strong>ch and bolt mortise locks, main and auxiliary, with or without a door terminal, th<strong>at</strong><br />

fulfil the requirements of the standard PN-EN 12209:2005/AC:2006, series: GBS 81<br />

or GBS 11 by ECO, FAB 05140 by FAB or by MERCOR, BKS, ASSA, ABLOY,<br />

SECURIDEVE, MCM, GERDA, BODA, TIMELOX, CORBIN, CISA, CORNI<br />

Anti-burglary doors mcr DREW PLUS EI30 are made with the filling according to<br />

option II and are fitted additionally with a lock GBS 13 by ECO, a hook lock 4232 by<br />

ABLOY, 2 anti-burglary bolts and C class hardware.<br />

The applic<strong>at</strong>ion in fire-resistant doors of other door knobs with disks (rosettes),<br />

hinges, additional inserted hinges, closers, drum cylinders, cable culverts, surface<br />

electromagnetic holders, surface electromagnetic cramps, electric h<strong>at</strong>ches, electric locks,<br />

surface drives, read relays, panic bars, and surface access control accessories other than<br />

listed above but of the same type is possible, provided they are marketed with the CE<br />

marking or the B building sign and their suitability for applic<strong>at</strong>ion in such doors has been<br />

confirmed with digit 1 in the fourth position of the classific<strong>at</strong>ion code given in the standard or<br />

<strong>approval</strong>, which means th<strong>at</strong> the required tests in this regard have been conducted.<br />

1.2.2. Door mcr DREW PLUS EI30 with the filling according to option III<br />

Along the edge of a single leaf door there are swelling gaskets, section 18 x 2 mm,<br />

type Flexpan 200, by Gluske, and EPDM gaskets. In double leaf doors, along an edge of an<br />

active leaf and along a hinge leaf and the upper passive leaf there is a swelling gasket (as<br />

above), and along a lock edge there is the same gasket, but of the section 10 x 2 mm.<br />

In the lower part of the leaf, there is a falling gasket th<strong>at</strong> fulfils the requirements of<br />

the standard PN-EN 12365-1:2006.<br />

Doors of types DREW PLUS DP1/P EI 30 and mcr DREW PLUS DP2/P EI30 can<br />

fe<strong>at</strong>ure glazing made of glass: Pyrobel 16, minimum thickness 16 mm by AGC, or Pyrostop<br />

F30, minimum thickness <strong>15</strong> mm, by Pilklington.<br />

The maximum dimensions of glazing for the doors mcr DREW PLUS DP1/P EI30<br />

and mcr DREW PLUS DP2/P EI30 should not be gre<strong>at</strong>er than (wide x height) 1000 x 2000<br />

mm. The distance of glazing from the edge of a leaf should not be lower than 95 mm along

the upper and vertical edges and 145 mm along the lower edge.<br />

The glazing is fixed and finished with oak glazing sl<strong>at</strong>s of the section 20 x 25 mm<br />

fixed to the door leaf with wood screws. The whole glazing is secured with fire-resistant<br />

- steel door frames made of metal sheet, 1.5 mm thick, of sections according to<br />

Leaves of the doors mcr DREW PLUS EI60 can be made in three options th<strong>at</strong><br />

fe<strong>at</strong>ure different filling:<br />

a) option I — filing made of HALSPAN EI60 board, 54 mm thick, covered along<br />

three edges (upper and vertical) with a wooden sl<strong>at</strong> made of either hardwood or<br />

softwood, minimum thickness 7 mm,

PROTOVIL WR/P (minimum endurance class D3); double leaf doors have the<br />

filing placed inside a wooden frame made of maple wood and consisting of sills<br />

of sections 42 x <strong>15</strong>0 mm and 42 x 165 mm, <strong>at</strong> the lock edge, connected with<br />

each other with an interlock and glued with the above-mentioned glue and<br />

additionally fixed with screws 3.5 x 35 mm – the elements of the frame covered<br />

on both sides with Prom<strong>at</strong>ect H boards, 6 mm thick, by PROMAT, or<br />

c) option III — filling made of HALSPAN EI 30 boards, 44 mm thick, covered on<br />

both sides with ANTIVLAM boards, 10 mm thick each, of the minimum density<br />

860 kg/m 3 , the whole element connected with the above-mentioned glue.<br />

The surface of doors may be finished with n<strong>at</strong>ural or modified veneer, paper foil,<br />

HPL, CPL or PVC (0.2-1 mm thick), lamin<strong>at</strong>e, profiled MDF boards, HDF or plywood<br />

(maximum thickness 4 mm), wooden sl<strong>at</strong>s (maximum thickness 20 mm), paint or lacquer<br />

co<strong>at</strong>ings. The thickness of a leaf, depending on the filling and finish, amounts to 53-85 mm.<br />

Single leaf doors with the filling according to option II have vertical edges of leaves<br />

secured with sl<strong>at</strong>s made of beech, fe<strong>at</strong>uring a cut groove with an installed swelling gasket,<br />

section 20 x 2.5 mm, Promaseal PL, by Prom<strong>at</strong>.<br />

Double leaf doors, with the filling according to option III, have the upper and hinge<br />

edges secured with strips of ENTIVLAM boards, 16 mm thick, and the lock edge secured<br />

with the ANTIVLAM board strips, 22 mm thick.<br />

As regards the door stop of a double leaf door, on the passive and active leaf there<br />

are swelling gaskets, section 20 x 2 mm, types INTERDENS 36 by DR. WOOLMANN,<br />

PALUSOL 100 by ODICE, Promaseal PI by Prom<strong>at</strong> or a graphite gasket by MARVON,<br />

LORIENT or GLUSKE.<br />

In doors without a threshold, a falling gasket can be installed according to figure 26<br />

in the lower part of the leaf, which fulfils the requirements of the standard PN-EN 12365-

thickness 25 mm by AGC or Pyrostop F60, minimum thickness 23 mm, by Pilklington.<br />

The maximum dimensions of glazing in the doors should not be gre<strong>at</strong>er than (wide x<br />

height) 540 x 1700 mm, for the filling according to option III, and 600 x 1170 mm for the<br />

filling in the option I. As regards glazing in a round opening, the maximum diameter should<br />

not be gre<strong>at</strong>er than 360 mm. The distance of glazing from the side and upper edges of a<br />

leaf should not be lower than 200 mm, for the filling in options II and III, and 905 mm for the<br />

filling in option I. In doors with the filling according to option III, edges of a glazed opening<br />

are secured with stripes of ANTIVLAM board, 10 mm thick, by SPANO.<br />

The glazing is fixed and finished with wooden or MDF glazing sl<strong>at</strong>s and sealed with<br />

ceramic gaskets: 8 x 4 mm by CGI Intern<strong>at</strong>ional Ltd, 20 x 3 by Jansen, Keramikpapier or<br />

Fibrefax, KERAFIX 2000, section 8 x 4 mm or KERAFIXPAPER, section 10 x 2 mm, by<br />

Gluske, or with sealing mass, 2 mm thick, by Sealmaster Fireglaze. A swelling gasket is<br />

installed along the perimeter of a glazing: PROMATECT HT, 1.6 mm thick by Prom<strong>at</strong>,<br />

Glazing Seals or K board, 3 mm thick by Halspan Ltd, Therm-A Line, 2 mm thick by<br />

Intumescent Seals Ltd or KERAFIX FXL 200, 1 mm thick, by Gluske.<br />

Mcr DREW PLUS EI60 doors may be fitted with a non-transparent transom, of<br />

maximum height 800 mm. A transom panel is made of HALSPAN board, 54 mm thick. The<br />

options of producing the mcr DRW PLUS EI60 doors with a non-transparent transom has<br />

been presented in figure 8.<br />

a leaf or a door frame one of the following swelling gaskets:<br />

type S 6850/o or S 6612/O by INTER DEVENTER.<br />

Door frames can be finished with n<strong>at</strong>ural or modified veneer, lamin<strong>at</strong>e, acryl or<br />

lacquer co<strong>at</strong>ings, paper foil, HPL, CPL or PVC.<br />

A threshold in a door with a threshold should be made of solid hardwood. The<br />

methods of producing a door in the threshold section have been shown in figure 26.<br />

softwood of minimum density 350 kg/m 3 , cross-section 45 x 45. The filling of a leaf is made<br />

of three layers of chipboard 13 VL by ASUERLAND, 13 mm thick each, co<strong>at</strong>ed on both<br />

sides with cork boards, 3 mm thick, and HDF board co<strong>at</strong>ing, 6 mm thick. A leaf along a<br />

vertical edge is finished with a wooden sl<strong>at</strong> made of hardwood, minimum thickness 6 mm.<br />

Individual elements of a leaf are connected with polyvinyl acet<strong>at</strong>e glue fe<strong>at</strong>uring the<br />

minimum endurance class D3.<br />

The surface of doors can be finished with n<strong>at</strong>ural or modified veneer, paper foil,<br />

HPL, CPL or PVC (0.2-1 mm thick), lamin<strong>at</strong>e, painting or lacquer co<strong>at</strong>ings.<br />

The thickness of a leaf is 57 mm.<br />

or a graphite gasket by MARVON, LORIENT or GLUSKE. A masking sl<strong>at</strong> is installed <strong>at</strong> the<br />

edge of two leaves, on an active leaf.<br />

The boards are connected with polyvinyl acet<strong>at</strong>e glue Durafix D300 by N<strong>at</strong>ional<br />

Adhesives, of the minimum endurance class D3, and screws for wood 3.5 x 50 mm.<br />

Leaves of single leaf doors are finished along vertical and top edges with ANTIVLAM<br />

board stripes, 16 mm thick, and minimum density 860 kg/m 3 by SPANO, while in double leaf<br />

doors the finish is the same, however along a lock edge there are two stripes of ANTIVLAM<br />

boards, 16 mm thick.<br />

The surface of doors may be finished with n<strong>at</strong>ural or modified veneer, paper foil,<br />

HPL, CPL or PVC (0.2-1 mm thick), lamin<strong>at</strong>e, painting or lacquer co<strong>at</strong>ings. The thickness of<br />

a leaf amounts to 76 mm.<br />

Along the perimeter of a leaf, there is a swelling gasket, section 22 x 2 mm, type:<br />

INTERDENS 36, by DR. WOOLMANN, PALUSOL 100 by ODICE, Promaseal PI by Prom<strong>at</strong><br />

and a graphite gasket by MARVON, LORIENT or GLUSKE.<br />

In a door stop of a double leaf door mcr DREW AKUSTIK DP2 EI60, along a<br />

passive leaf, there are two swelling gaskets (as above), section 10 x 2 mm each, and along<br />

an active leaf there is one swelling gasket of the section 16 x 2 mm.<br />

In doors without a threshold, a falling gasket is installed according to figure 26 in the<br />

lower part of the leaf, which fulfils the requirements of the standard PN-EN 12365-1:2006,<br />

type: Schall — Ex P28 by Athmer, Deventer Bodenturdichtung DRS <strong>15</strong>28 SL by INTER<br />

DEVENTER, ELLEN – MATIC – UNIVERSAL, ELLEN – MATIC – PRIMERA or ELLEN –<br />

Door frames are fitted with two swelling gaskets of the following type: INTERDENS<br />

Door frames can be finished with n<strong>at</strong>ural or modified veneer, lamin<strong>at</strong>e, acryl or<br />

lacquer co<strong>at</strong>ings, paper foil, HPL, CPL or PVC.<br />

A threshold in a door with a threshold should be made of solid hardwood. The<br />

methods of producing a door in the threshold section have been shown in figure 26.<br />

Doors of the type mcr DREW AKUSTIK EI60 are fitted with:<br />

a) two, three or four hinges th<strong>at</strong> fulfil the requirements of the standard PN-EN<br />

Glazing in the doors mcr DREW-WW type can be of different shapes and sizes th<strong>at</strong><br />

make it possible to maintain the distance in a leaf from a door leaf to the glazing of<br />

minimum 200 mm. The glazing is made of safe glass th<strong>at</strong> fulfils the requirements of the<br />

standard PN-EN ISO 12543-2:2000/A1:2005 and PN-EN ISO 12543-3:2000, in the following<br />

packages: 44.2/16/6 in case of doors mcr DREW-WW-02, 44.2/8/16 in case of doors mcr<br />

DREW-WW-03 and 44.1 PHONE, 44.2 PHONE or 33.1 in case of doors mcr DREW-WW-<br />

05.<br />

The glazing is fixed with glazing wooden sl<strong>at</strong>s made of MDF, steel, chrome-nickel or<br />

PCV. Gaskets made of EPDM, ceramic or polyurethane, PE, PCV or GK are used to seal<br />

the glazing. Glazing sl<strong>at</strong>s and sl<strong>at</strong>s th<strong>at</strong> stabilise the non-transparent filling are fixed to the<br />

wooden frames with: steel sticks with sl<strong>at</strong>s glued to frames or without glue, screws for<br />

Door frames are fitted with gaskets of EPDM, type S 6612, and steel door frames<br />

are provided with EPDM gaskets, types: S 6741, M/S 6692, M/S 7234 or M/S 6586 (AT-06-<br />

0102/2005) by INTER DEVENTER.<br />

Door frames can be finished with n<strong>at</strong>ural or modified veneer, lamin<strong>at</strong>e, acryl or<br />

leaf.<br />

Doors of the type mcr DREW-WW are fitted with:<br />

Hinged or sliding doors DREW-WL/SZKŁO-13 have leaves made of a glass pane of<br />

minimum thickness 10 mm, made of safe glass, which fulfils the requirements of the<br />

standard PN-EN ISO 12543-2:2000/A1:2005 and PN-EN ISO 12543-3:2000.<br />

Interior doors of the type mcr DREW-WL are fitted with:<br />

- two, three or four screw hinges, with two or three wings, th<strong>at</strong> fulfil the<br />

requirements of the standard PN-EN 1935:2003/AC:2005,<br />

- l<strong>at</strong>ch and bolt mortise locks, a roll type, electric-mechanical, panic type with a<br />

knob or panic bar, or multi-point anti-burglary th<strong>at</strong> fulfil the requirements of the<br />

standard PN-EN 12209:2005/AC:2006,<br />

1.8. Wooden segments of fixed partitions mcr DREW SGM<br />

Segments of fixed partitions mcr DREW SGM are available in the following types:<br />

mcr DREW SGM EI30 and DREW SGM EI60.<br />

The external dimensions of segments are as follows: maximum height 3000 mm and<br />

width — without limit<strong>at</strong>ions, and the expansion joints should be made with the maximum<br />

spacing of 4000 mm.<br />

The frames of partition segments mcr DREW SGM EI30, of sections 60 x 60 mm<br />

and 60 x 95 mm, in the lower section, are made of glued layered softwood, of minimum<br />

density 430 kg/m 3 and co<strong>at</strong>ed with MDF board of minimum density 700 kg/m 3 and thickness<br />

5 mm. Elements of a frame are connected with a glue th<strong>at</strong> fulfils the requirements of the<br />

minimum endurance class D3.<br />

The visible surfaces of partition segment frames are finished with n<strong>at</strong>ural or modified<br />

veneer or co<strong>at</strong>ing or lacquer co<strong>at</strong>ing.<br />

Segments of fixed partitions mcr DREW SGM EI30 can be filled with:<br />

- Pyrostop <strong>15</strong> glass, <strong>15</strong> mm thick, maximum diameters 1000 x 2000 mm,<br />

- Pyrostop 16 glass, 16 mm thick, maximum diameters 1000 x 2000 mm,

Along the glazing or non-transparent filling, a swelling gasket is fixed, Flexpan 200<br />

by Gluske, 10 x 2 mm cross-section. The filling is embedded with glazing sl<strong>at</strong>s, section 20 x<br />

25, made of hardwood of minimum density 650 kg/m 3 , and fixed in a leaf with wood screws.<br />

The frames of partition segments mcr DREW SGM EI60 of section 95 x 57 mm are<br />

made of two elements: first of section 75 x 57 mm or 57 x 57 mm, made of softwood of<br />

minimum density 430 kg/m 3 , and the second of the section 20 x 57 mm, made of hardwood<br />

of minimum density 650 kg/m 3 , connected with glue th<strong>at</strong> fulfils the requirements of minimum<br />

endurance class D3.<br />

The visible surfaces of partition segment frames are finished with n<strong>at</strong>ural or modified<br />

veneer or co<strong>at</strong>ing or lacquer co<strong>at</strong>ing.<br />

Segments of fixed partitions mcr DREW SGM EI60 can be filled with:<br />

- Pyrostop 23 glass, 23 mm thick, maximum dimensions 1000 x 2000 mm or 1400<br />

mm x 1000 mm,<br />

- Pyrostop 21 glass, 21 mm thick, dimensions as above,<br />

- Pyrobel 25 glass, 25 mm thick, dimensions as above.<br />

The glazing is fixed in a steel stabilising sl<strong>at</strong> of the section 26 x 10 x 1 mm, and<br />

finished with oak glazing strips of minimum density 650 kg/m3, fixed in a leaf with screws.<br />

The whole glazing is secured with fire-proof silicon.<br />

The assembly of segments mcr DREW SGM EI30 and EI60 in building partitions is<br />

conducted with steel anchors 8 x 80 mm, with spacing 400-500 mm, and with a segment<br />

frame installed before the assembly of the glazing.<br />

1.9. Wooden segments of fixed partitions mcr DREW SGM BO<br />

The external dimensions of segments of mcr DREW SGM BO type are as follows:<br />

maximum height 4000 mm and width — without limit<strong>at</strong>ions, and the expansion joints should<br />

be made with the maximum spacing of 3500 mm; the width of a single segment (without<br />

expansion joints) cannot be gre<strong>at</strong>er than 4000 mm.<br />

The frames of partition segments mcr DREW SGM BO, with the dimension of<br />

external element sections 45 x 100 mm and 57 x 100 mm internal division, are made of<br />

solid or glued layered softwood, of minimum density 350 kg/m 3 or hardwood of minimum<br />

density 500 kg/m 3 . Elements of a frame are connected with glue th<strong>at</strong> fulfils the requirements<br />

of the minimum endurance class D3.<br />

The visible surfaces of partition segment frames are finished with n<strong>at</strong>ural or modified<br />

veneer or co<strong>at</strong>ing or lacquer co<strong>at</strong>ing.<br />

Segments of fixed partitions mcr DREW SGM BO can be filled with:<br />

- MDF boards, minimum 12 mm thick and minimum density 760 kg/m 3 ,<br />

- Antivlam boards by Spano Oostrozebeke, minimum 12 mm thick and minimum<br />

density 520 kg/m 3 .<br />

Glazing in the fixed partitions mcr DREW SGM BO can be of different shapes, with<br />

the size of a single glazing should not be gre<strong>at</strong>er than 1990 x 2440 mm. The glazing is

made of safe glass of minimum thickness 6 mm, layered or insul<strong>at</strong>ed, th<strong>at</strong> fulfils the<br />

requirements of the standard PN-EN ISO 12543-2:2000/A1:2005 and PN-EN ISO 12543-<br />

3:2000.<br />

The filling is fixed with glazing wooden sl<strong>at</strong>s made of MDF, steel, chrome-nickel or<br />

PCV. Gaskets made of EPDM, ceramic or polyurethane, PE, PCV or GK are used to seal<br />

the glazing. Glazing sl<strong>at</strong>s and sl<strong>at</strong>s th<strong>at</strong> stabilise the non-transparent filling are fixed to the<br />

wooden frames with: steel sticks with sl<strong>at</strong>s glued to frames or without glue, screws for<br />

wood, nails, with a tongue, metal c<strong>at</strong>ches, glue, pins or by twisting.<br />

The required <strong>technical</strong> parameters of partition segments of type mcr DREW SGM<br />

BO are given in section 3.<br />

2. PURPOSE, SCOPE AND CONDITIONS OF APPLICATION<br />

The doors covered by this Technical Approval are designed for public utility and<br />

residential construction as internal entrance doors, which concerns the following types of<br />

doors: mcr DREW PLUS DP1 EI30, mcr DREW PLUS DP1/P EI30, mcr DREW PLUS DP2<br />

EI30, mcr DREW PLUS DP2/P EI30, mcr DREW AKUSTIK DP1 EI30, mcr DREW<br />

AKUSTIK DP2 EI30, mcr DREW-WW-01, mcr DREW-WW-02, mcr DREW-WW-03, mcr<br />

DREW-WW-04, mcr DREW-WW-05, mcr DREW-WW-06, mcr DREW-WW-07, mcr<br />

DREW-WW-08, mcr DREW-WW-09 and mcr DREW-WW-10 and internal doors, which<br />

concerns the following types of doors: mcr DREW-WL/UN-1, mcr DREW-WL/RT7-2, mcr<br />

DREW-WL/RT7-3, mcr DREW-WL/HA-4, mcr DREW-WL/PM-5, mcr DREW-WL/VL-6, mcr<br />

DREW-WL/AN-7, mcr DREW-WL/KT-8, mcr DREW-WL/PP-9, mcr DREW-WL/RO-10, mcr<br />

DREW-WL/PZ-11, mcr DREW-WL/CP-12 and mcr DREW-WL/SZKŁO.<br />

Segments of fixed partitions mcr DREW SGM and mcr DREW SGM BO are<br />

designed for public utility and housing construction as internal walls.<br />

Due to noise protection of premises, the scope of applying internal entrance doors<br />

(according to the classific<strong>at</strong>ion given in section 3) should comply with the acoustic<br />

requirements given in the standard PN-B-02<strong>15</strong>1-3:1999.<br />

Fire doors mcr DREW PLUS and segments of fixed partitions mcr DREW SGM fulfil<br />

the criteria specified in the standard PN-EN 13501-2+A1:2010 for the fire resistance classes<br />

specified in section 3.<br />

Doors DREW PLUS EI30 with the filling in the option I and doors mcr DREW PLUS<br />

EI60 with the filling in the option I, with or without a threshold and with a falling sl<strong>at</strong>, fulfil the<br />

criteria specified in the standard PN-EN 13501-2+A1:2010 of smoke tightness class Sa and<br />

Sm.<br />

Single leaf solid doors mcr DREW PLUS EI30 fulfil the criteria specified in the<br />

standard PE-ENV 1627:2006 for class 2 of burglary resistance.<br />

The doors mcr DREW PLUS EI30, doors and h<strong>at</strong>ches mcr DREW AKUSTIK EI30<br />

and segments of fixed partitions mcr DREW SGM EI30 can be installed in the following<br />

walls:<br />

- brickwork walls of solid bricks of thickness <strong>at</strong> least 1<strong>15</strong> mm;<br />

- cellular concrete of thickness <strong>at</strong> least <strong>15</strong>0 mm;

- concrete of thickness <strong>at</strong> least 100 mm; or<br />

- plasterboard of fire resistance <strong>at</strong> least El 30.<br />

The doors mcr DREW PLUS EI60, doors and h<strong>at</strong>ches mcr DREW AKUSTIK EI60<br />

and segments of fixed partitions mcr DREW SGM EI60 can be installed in the following<br />

walls:<br />

- brickwork walls of solid bricks of thickness <strong>at</strong> least 1<strong>15</strong> mm;<br />

- cellular concrete of thickness <strong>at</strong> least <strong>15</strong>0 mm;<br />

- concrete of thickness <strong>at</strong> least 100 mm; or<br />

- plasterboard of fire resistance <strong>at</strong> least El 60.<br />

The applic<strong>at</strong>ion of segments of fixed partitions covered by this Technical Approval<br />

should comply with the <strong>technical</strong> document<strong>at</strong>ion of a facility, taking account of applicable<br />

standards and regul<strong>at</strong>ions (in particular, the Regul<strong>at</strong>ion of the Minister of Infrastructure of 12<br />

April 2002 on the <strong>technical</strong> requirements for buildings and their loc<strong>at</strong>ion (Journal of Laws<br />

No. 75 of 2002, item 690 with subsequent amendments)). The embedding of doors and<br />

segments of fixed partitions, their assembly and maintenance should comply with the<br />

manufacturer manual.<br />

3.1. M<strong>at</strong>erials<br />

3. TECHNICAL PROPERTIES, REQUIREMENTS<br />

3.1.1. Wood. To produce wooden elements of doors, softwood should be applied of<br />

the minimum density of 350 kg/m 3 or hardwood of the minimum density of 500 kg/m 3 .<br />

The quality of wood should fulfil the requirements of the standard PN-EN<br />

14221:2007. The humidity of wood should amount to 8-<strong>15</strong>%.<br />

3.1.2. Semi-finished products made of glued layered wood. Semi-finished<br />

products made of glued layered wood should be made of m<strong>at</strong>erials th<strong>at</strong> fulfil the<br />

requirements set forth in items 3.1.1 and 3.1.9 and should be classified in the formaldehyde<br />

class E1 according to PN-EN 13986:2006.<br />

The lengthwise connections of wood should be made with wedge connections<br />

according to PN-B-10087:1996.<br />

The humidity of individual wood layers in a glued layered semi-finished product<br />

should not exceed <strong>15</strong>%. The difference in humidity between specific layers within a semi-<br />

finished product section should not exceed 2%.<br />

Wood layers in semi-finished products should be glued precisely. Joints should be<br />

continuous and tight (filled in with glue). The layered connections of wood should not be<br />

separ<strong>at</strong>ed along a joint while splitting samples 5 cm long with a wedge or a broad chisel.<br />

The average shear strength of semi-finished products during compression should<br />

not be lower than:<br />

- 7.0 MPa after 7 days of seasoning samples in the normal clim<strong>at</strong>e (the normal<br />

clim<strong>at</strong>e according to PN-ISO 554:1996 and PN-EN 205:2005 is the temper<strong>at</strong>ure<br />

+20°C ± 2°C and the rel<strong>at</strong>ive humidity of air 65 ± 5 % or the temper<strong>at</strong>ure +23°C<br />

± 2°C and the rel<strong>at</strong>ive humidity of air 50 ± 5%),

- 2.0 MPa after 7 days of seasoning samples in the normal clim<strong>at</strong>e and 4 days of<br />

soaking in w<strong>at</strong>er <strong>at</strong> temper<strong>at</strong>ure +20°C ± 2°C.<br />

3.1.3. MDF and HDF boards. The co<strong>at</strong>ings of door leaves and block door frames<br />

are made of fibreboard, formed with a dry method.<br />

MDF boards should have the minimum density 750 kg/m 3 and should fulfil the<br />

requirements of the standard PN-EN 622-5:2007.<br />

HDF boards applied as co<strong>at</strong>ing and door panels should have the minimum density<br />

800 kg/m 3 and should fulfil the following requirements:<br />

- swelling in thickness, after 24h in w<strong>at</strong>er, maximum 35%,<br />

- bending strength, minimum 40 MPa,<br />

- tensile strength, vertical to a plane, minimum 0.70 MPa, and<br />

- modulus of elasticity when bending, minimum 3000 MPa.<br />

MDF and HDF boards should be classified in the formaldehyde class E1 according<br />

to PN-EN-13986:2006.<br />

3.1.4. Pressed chipboard. The filling of a door should be made of chipboard, 11, 33<br />

and 34 mm thick, and of minimum density 520 kg/m 3 . Adjustable door frames should be<br />

made of chipboard, 22 mm thick, of minimum density 630 kg/m 3 , and boards 12 mm thick,<br />

of minimum density 700 kg/m 3 . Adjustable frames should be made of chipboard of minimum<br />

density 350 kg/m 3 .<br />

Chipboard should fulfil the requirements of the standard PN-EN 312:2005 for boards<br />

of P2 type and should be classified in the formaldehyde class E1 according to PN-EN<br />

13986:2006.<br />

3.1.5. Extracted chipboard. The filling of a door should be made of open extracted<br />

chipboards th<strong>at</strong> fulfil the requirements of the standard PN-EN 14755:2007 for ETS type<br />

boards, with minimum density 230 kg/m 3 .<br />

Extracted chipboard should be classified in the formaldehyde class E1 according to<br />

PN-EN 13986:2006.<br />

3.1.6. Flax board. The filling of a door should be made of flax boards th<strong>at</strong> fulfil the<br />

requirements of the standard PN-EN <strong>15</strong>197:2007. Flax boards should be classified in the<br />

formaldehyde class E1 according to PN-EN 13986:2006.<br />

3.1.7. Soft fibreboard. The filling of a door should be made of fibreboards of<br />

minimum density 140 kg/m 3 th<strong>at</strong> fulfil the requirements of the standard PN-EN 622-<br />

4:2000/Ap1:2002 for SB type boards and should be classified in the formaldehyde class E1<br />

according to PN-EN 13986:2006.<br />

3.1.8. Plywood. The filling of a door mcr DREW should be made of plywood th<strong>at</strong><br />

fulfils the requirements of the standard PN-EN 636:2005 for plywood of EN 636-1 type,<br />

classified in the formaldehyde class E1 according to PN-EN 13986:2006.<br />

3.1.9. Glues. For gluing sills, connecting co<strong>at</strong>ing boards with sills and filling, w<strong>at</strong>er-<br />

resistant glues should be applied th<strong>at</strong> fulfil the minimum endurance class D3 according to<br />

the PN-EN 204:2002 standard.

3.1.10. Panels. For glazing door leaves in fixed partition segments the glass panels<br />

should be used th<strong>at</strong> fulfil the requirements ZUAT-<strong>15</strong>/III.16/2007 for hinged doors and ZUAT-<br />

<strong>15</strong>/III.<strong>15</strong>.2005 for sliding doors.<br />

with point 1.<br />

3.1.11. Glazing sl<strong>at</strong>s. Glazing sl<strong>at</strong>s and the method of their fixing should comply<br />

3.1.12. Steel frames. Steel frames should comply with point 1.<br />

3.1.13. Gaskets. Gaskets th<strong>at</strong> fulfil the requirements of point 1 should be applied in<br />

door leaves and frames.<br />

3.1.14. Painting and lacquering co<strong>at</strong>ing, veneer, lamin<strong>at</strong>e, PCV or paper foil. To<br />

produce paint and lacquer co<strong>at</strong>ings, finish m<strong>at</strong>erials should be applied th<strong>at</strong> enable to obtain<br />

glossy co<strong>at</strong>ing, without streaks, sagging, foreign bodies, th<strong>at</strong> fulfil the requirements<br />

specified in ZUAT-<strong>15</strong>/III/16/2007 and ZUAT-<strong>15</strong>/III.<strong>15</strong>/2005.<br />

The adhesion of co<strong>at</strong>ings to a found<strong>at</strong>ion should correspond to level 0 or 1<br />

according to PN-EN ISO 2409:2008.<br />

The co<strong>at</strong>ings of door leaves or frames made of veneer, lamin<strong>at</strong>e, PCV or paper foil<br />

glued on MDF or HDF boards should be resistant to scr<strong>at</strong>ching and their adhesion to a base<br />

verified according to PN-EN 311:2004 cannot be lower than 0.6 MPa in case of a sample<br />

destruction within a base or not lower than 1.0 MPa if a sample is destroyed <strong>at</strong> the<br />

connection of co<strong>at</strong>ing and a base.<br />

3.2. Hardware and locks. The applied hardware and locks should comply with part<br />

3.3. Execution<br />

The quality of execution and finish of doors should fulfil the requirements of ZUAT-<br />

<strong>15</strong>/III.16.2007 — hinged doors, and ZUAT-<strong>15</strong>.III/2005 — sliding doors.<br />

3.4. Technical properties of doors<br />

3.4.1. Dimensions. The dimensions of doors should be in accordance with point 1.<br />

Dimension devi<strong>at</strong>ions of leaves should be according to the standard PN-EN <strong>15</strong>29:2001 for<br />

the tolerance class 2.<br />

Dimension devi<strong>at</strong>ions of door frames should fulfil the requirements given in ZUAT-<br />

<strong>15</strong>/III.16/-2007 and ZUAT-<strong>15</strong>/III.<strong>15</strong>/2005.<br />

3.4.2. Shape of leaves (rectangularity and fl<strong>at</strong>ness). The shape of a leaf, which is<br />

determined by the rectangularity of leaf corners and the fl<strong>at</strong>ness of edges and corners of a<br />

leave, should fulfil the following requirements:<br />

- devi<strong>at</strong>ions from corner rectangularity should be within the maximum devi<strong>at</strong>ions<br />

acceptable for tolerance class 3 according to the standard PN-EN <strong>15</strong>29-2001 in<br />

case of doors mcr DREW PLUS and mcr DREW AKUSTIK, and for tolerance class

2 in case of doors mcr DREW-WW and mcr DREW-WL,<br />

- devi<strong>at</strong>ions from the general fl<strong>at</strong>ness should be within the maximum devi<strong>at</strong>ions<br />

acceptable for tolerance class 3 and devi<strong>at</strong>ions from the local fl<strong>at</strong>ness should be<br />

within the maximum devi<strong>at</strong>ions acceptable for tolerance class 1 according to the<br />

standard PN-EN <strong>15</strong>30-2001.<br />

3.4.3. Functionality and correctness of oper<strong>at</strong>ion. The internal hinged entrance<br />

doors of the following types: mcr DREW PLUS, mcr DREW AKUSTIK and mcr DREW-WW,<br />

after 50,000 cycles of door opening and closing a leaf (i.e. for class 4 according to PN-EN<br />

12400-2004) and internal doors: hinged mcr DREW-WL and sliding mcr DREW-WL/PZ-11,<br />

after 20,000 cycles of opening and closing a leaf (i.e. for resistance class 3 according to<br />

PN-EN 12400:2004), should not show any damage or incorrect oper<strong>at</strong>ion. The door leaves<br />

should move without jamming or halting.<br />

Gaskets should adhere along the whole length to the suitable surfaces according to<br />

the structural premises.<br />

3.4.4. Correct oper<strong>at</strong>ion and values of oper<strong>at</strong>ing forces. A hinged door leaf<br />

should move without jamming or halting during opening and closing. After closing a door,<br />

gaskets should adhere along the whole length to the suitable surfaces according to the<br />

structural premises. Hinges, knobs, locks and other elements of equipment should oper<strong>at</strong>e<br />

according to the manufacturer’s d<strong>at</strong>a.<br />

The oper<strong>at</strong>ing forces should not exceed the admissible values given for class 2<br />

(according to the standard PN-EN 12217:2005) in case of doors without a closer or class 1,<br />

in case of doors with a closer.<br />

The force necessary for closing a sliding door of a leaf mass up to 50 kg should not<br />

exceed 30 N for class 3 according to the standard PN-EN <strong>15</strong>27:2000.<br />

3.4.5. Doors resistance to vertical st<strong>at</strong>ic load. The plastic strain according to the<br />

requirements of the standard PN-EN 1192:2001 for class 2 of hinged door resistance<br />

(resulting from a load on leaf with vertical force 600 N acting on a leaf plane) according to<br />

the standard PN-EN 947:2000 should not exceed 1.0 mm or reduce the functional or<br />

oper<strong>at</strong>ional properties of a hinged door oper<strong>at</strong>ion.<br />

In sliding doors, suspension members, rollers, tracks or fixing elements according to<br />

PN-EN <strong>15</strong>27:2000 should withstand without any plastic strain the vertical st<strong>at</strong>ic load equal to<br />

the double value of their r<strong>at</strong>ed capacity for the minimum period of 10 min.<br />

3.4.6. Resistance to vertical st<strong>at</strong>ic load of a sliding door leaf. The plastic strain<br />

resulting from loading a leaf with force Q = Q 1 = Q 2 = 200 N acting vertically on a plane of<br />

a sliding door leaf according to figure 31 should not reduce the functional or oper<strong>at</strong>ional<br />

properties of a sliding door oper<strong>at</strong>ion. Such load should not cause any damage to a door,<br />

including its moving or suspending elements.<br />

3.4.7. Resistance to st<strong>at</strong>ic torsion. The plastic strain of a corner, according to the<br />

requirements of PN-EN 1192:2001 for class 2 of hinged door resistance (resulting from the<br />

load of force of value 250 N) according to PN-EN 948:2000 should not exceed 2 mm or<br />

reduce the functional or oper<strong>at</strong>ional properties of a door oper<strong>at</strong>ion.

3.4.8. Resistance to surge load with a soft and heavy body. The plastic strain<br />

according to the requirements of PN-EN 1192:2001 for class 2 of hinged doors (resulting<br />

from the impact load on a leaf with the striking energy of 60 J) according to PN-EN<br />

949:2000 should not exceed 2.00 mm. No damage should occur to the structure of the door<br />

or any cracks of a leaf painting co<strong>at</strong>. The correctness of a door oper<strong>at</strong>ion should be retained<br />

after the test.<br />

In sliding doors, as a result of the impact load acting on a leaf of the striking energy<br />

of 30 J there should be no damage to the structure of the door or any cracks of a leaf<br />

painting co<strong>at</strong>. The correctness of a door oper<strong>at</strong>ion should be retained after the test.<br />

3.4.9. Resistance of a leaf to an impact of a hard body. The average value of<br />

depth of recesses according to the requirements of the standard PN-EN 1192:2001 for<br />

class 2 of door resistance (resulting from the impact with energy 3 J) after the test<br />

according to the standard PN-EN 950:2000 should not be larger than 1.0 mm, while the<br />

maximum value of depth of these recesses must not exceed 1.5 mm. The average value of<br />

diameters of such recesses should not be larger than 20 mm. Some damage of the paint<br />

co<strong>at</strong>ing can occur. The plastic strain should not be well visible in the observ<strong>at</strong>ion in<br />

sc<strong>at</strong>tered light from the distance of 5 m.<br />

3.4.10. Resistance to vibr<strong>at</strong>ion. The hinged internal entrance doors (without a<br />

closer) should be resistant to vibr<strong>at</strong>ion and should show no damage or reduced functional<br />

properties after 300 tests cycles according to PN-B-06079:1988 for the class resistance 3<br />

according to PN-EN 1192:2001, and internal doors — 50 test cycles for class 2. Gaskets<br />

should adhere along the whole length to the suitable surfaces according to the structural<br />

premises.<br />

Sliding doors should be resistant to vibr<strong>at</strong>ion and should show no damage or<br />

reduced functional properties after 50 tests cycles with the load th<strong>at</strong> causes vibr<strong>at</strong>ions equal<br />

to 20 N.<br />

3.4.11. Air permeability. The internal entrance doors should fulfil the requirements<br />

of air permeability for class 2 according to the standard PN-EN 12207:2001 in the test<br />

according to standard PN-EN 1026:2001 and the average air infiltr<strong>at</strong>ion coefficient should<br />

not exceed 1.0 m 3 /hm/daPa 2/3 .<br />

3.4.12. Acoustic insul<strong>at</strong>ing power. The acoustic insul<strong>at</strong>ing power of single leaf and<br />

double leaf internal entrance doors should correspond <strong>at</strong> least to the following acoustic<br />

classes:<br />

a) solid doors with a falling slant:<br />

- class D1-35 and class D2-35 (adapted to the requirements according to PN-B-02<strong>15</strong>1-<br />

03:1999 and encompassing the products with the coefficients 37 dB ≤ RA1 ≤ 41 dB and 37 dB<br />

≤ RA2 ≤ 41 dB) and the class Rw = 42 dB (adapted to the requirements according to PN-87/B-<br />

02<strong>15</strong>1/03, encompassing the products with the coefficients 42 dB ≤ RW ≤ 46 dB), in case of<br />

doors of type mcr DREW AKUSTIK DP-1 EI30.<br />

- class D1-35 and class D2-35 (adapted to the requirements according to PN-B-02<strong>15</strong>1-<br />

03:1999 and encompassing the products with the coefficients 37 dB ≤ RA1 ≤ 41 dB and 37 dB

doors of type mcr DREW-WW-01, mcr DREW-WW-02, mcr DREW-WW-03 and mcr DREW-<br />

WW-04,<br />

- class D1-25 and class D2-25 (adapted to the requirements according to PN-B-02<strong>15</strong>1-<br />

03:1999 and encompassing the products with the coefficients 27 dB ≤ RA1 ≤ 31 dB and 27 dB<br />

≤ RA2 ≤ 31 dB) and the class Rw = 27 dB (adapted to the requirements according to PN-87/B-<br />

03:1999 and encompassing the products with the coefficients 32 dB ≤ RA1 ≤ 36 dB and 32 dB<br />

≤ RA2 ≤ 36 dB) and the class Rw = 32 dB (adapted to the requirements according to PN-87/B-<br />

02<strong>15</strong>1/03, encompassing the products with the coefficients 32 dB ≤ RW ≤ 36 dB), in case of<br />

doors of type mcr DREW-WW-07 and mcr DREW-WW-08,<br />

- class D1-30 and class D2-25 (adapted to the requirements according to PN-B-02<strong>15</strong>1-<br />

03:1999 and encompassing the products with the coefficients 32 dB ≤ RA1 ≤ 36 dB and 27 dB<br />

≤ RA2 ≤ 31 dB) and the class Rw = 32 dB (adapted to the requirements according to PN-87/B-<br />

02<strong>15</strong>1/03, encompassing the products with the coefficients 32 dB ≤ RW ≤ 36 dB), in case of<br />

doors of type mcr DREW-WW-09 and mcr DREW-WW-10.<br />

3.4.13. Fire resistance. Doors should fulfil the criteria set forth in the standard PN-<br />

EN 13501-2+A1:2010 for the fire resistance class:<br />

EI30,<br />

EI60.<br />

a) EI2 30 — door doors of types mcr DREW PLUS EI30 and mcr DREW AKUSTIK<br />

b) EI2 60 — door doors of types mcr DREW PLUS EI60 and mcr DREW AKUSTIK<br />

3.4.14. Smoke tightness. Doors mcr DREW PLUS E30 with the filling in option I<br />

and doors mcr DREW PLUS E60 with the filling in option I, with or without a threshold and<br />

with a falling slant, should fulfil the smoke tightness criteria of classes Sm and Sa according<br />

to standard PN-EN 13501-2+A1:2010.<br />

3.4.<strong>15</strong>. Burglary resistance. Single leaf, solid doors mcr DREW_PLUS EI30 should<br />

s<strong>at</strong>isfy the requirements of burglary resistance class 2 according to the standard PN-ENV<br />

1627:2006.<br />

3.4.16. Marking. Every fire and smoke-tight door should be marked permanently<br />

with a r<strong>at</strong>ing pl<strong>at</strong>e including the following inform<strong>at</strong>ion:<br />

- name of the Manufacturer,

- product name (symbol),<br />

- year of production,<br />

- fire resistance class — in case of fire doors,<br />

- smoke tightness class — in case of smoke-tight doors, and<br />

- the number of the Technical Approval ITB AT-<strong>15</strong>-<strong>8563</strong>/<strong>2011</strong>.<br />

3.5. Technical properties of wall segments<br />

3.5.1. Load capacity and rigidity. The calcul<strong>at</strong>ed deflections of internal wall<br />

segments due to the following loads (and their combin<strong>at</strong>ions) should not exceed H/350 (H<br />

— wall height), and the experimental bending should not exceed H/400 due to:<br />

a) vertical load th<strong>at</strong> is evenly distributed, caused by the air pressure difference on<br />

both sides of a wall, of the value of 250 Pa,<br />

b) linear load with vertical force acting <strong>at</strong> 1.2 m from a floor level, of the following<br />

values:<br />

- 500 N/m for walls in premises with a limited number of occupants, such as rooms<br />

in fl<strong>at</strong>s, hotels, offices, hospitals etc.,<br />

- 100 N/m for walls in premises with a large number occupants, such as conference<br />

halls, school rooms, lecture halls and others used in a similar manner.<br />

3.5.2. Resistance to surge load with a soft and heavy body. Segments of internal<br />

walls should fulfil the requirements of resistance to impact with a soft and heavy body<br />

specified in the Guidelines ETAG No. 003 for c<strong>at</strong>egories I, II, III and IV of use and<br />

encompassing rooms of types A, B, C, D and E.<br />

3.5.3. Fire resistance. Internal wall segments should fulfil the criteria of fire<br />

resistance class set forth in the standard PN-EN 13501-2:2008:<br />

a) EI 30 — segments of walls mcr DREW SGM EI 30,<br />

B) EI 60 — segments of walls mcr DREW SGM EI 60.<br />

3.5.4. Marking. Every fire wall should be marked permanently with a r<strong>at</strong>ing pl<strong>at</strong>e <strong>at</strong><br />

a place specified by the manufacturer. A r<strong>at</strong>ing pl<strong>at</strong>e should include the following<br />

inform<strong>at</strong>ion:<br />

- name of the Manufacturer,<br />

- product name,<br />

- year of production,<br />

- the number of the Technical Approval ITB AT-<strong>15</strong>-<strong>8563</strong>/<strong>2011</strong>, and<br />

- fire resistance class.<br />

4. PACKAGING, STORAGE, TRANSPORT<br />

The doors and segments of walls covered by this Technical Approval should be<br />

packed individually or on pallets in a complete set of elements according to the standard<br />

PN-B-05000:1996, with an enclosed embedding instruction. The packages should protect a<br />

product against mechanical damage or deform<strong>at</strong>ion. Products should be stored and

transported according to the standard PN-B-05000:1996.<br />

A label should be <strong>at</strong>tached to every package with the following inform<strong>at</strong>ion:<br />

- the number and d<strong>at</strong>e of issue of the domestic declar<strong>at</strong>ion of conformity,<br />

- the name of the certifying body th<strong>at</strong> has particip<strong>at</strong>ed in the conformity<br />

evalu<strong>at</strong>ion (in the case of doors of specific fire resistance or smoke tightness<br />

class), and<br />

- a building sign.<br />

The method of marking the product with the building sign should be conforming to<br />

the Regul<strong>at</strong>ion of the Minister of Infrastructure of 11 August 2004 on the method of<br />

declar<strong>at</strong>ion of conformity of building products and the method of marking them with the<br />

building sign (Journal of Laws No. 198/2004, item 2041).<br />

5.1. General provisions<br />

5. CONFORMITY EVALUATION<br />

In accordance with art. 4, art. 5 par. 1 point 3 and art. 8 par. 1 of the act of 16 April<br />

2004 on building products (Journal of Laws No. 92/2004, item 881), the products concerned<br />

by this Technical Approval may be admitted for sale and applic<strong>at</strong>ion in building works in the<br />

scope corresponding to their oper<strong>at</strong>ional properties and purpose, if the manufacturer has<br />

performed the conformity evalu<strong>at</strong>ion, has issued a domestic declar<strong>at</strong>ion of conformity with<br />

the Technical Approval ITB AT-<strong>15</strong>-<strong>8563</strong>/<strong>2011</strong>, and has marked the products with the<br />

building sign, in accordance with the regul<strong>at</strong>ions in force.<br />

In accordance with the Regul<strong>at</strong>ion of the Minister of Infrastructure of 11 August 2004<br />

on the method of declar<strong>at</strong>ion of conformity of building products and the method of marking<br />

them with the building sign (Journal of Laws No. 198/2004, item 2041), the conformity<br />

evalu<strong>at</strong>ion of products with the Technical Approval AT-<strong>15</strong>-<strong>8563</strong>/<strong>2011</strong> is performed by the<br />

Manufacturer (or its authorised represent<strong>at</strong>ive) with its registered office in the Republic of<br />

Poland, using the following conformity evalu<strong>at</strong>ion systems:<br />

- system 1 — in the case fire and smoke-tight doors,<br />

- system 3 — in the case of internal entrance doors and segments of fixed walls,<br />

either with or without fire resistance,<br />

- system 4 — in the case of internal doors.<br />

In the case of system 1 of the conformity evalu<strong>at</strong>ion, the Manufacturer can issue a<br />

domestic declar<strong>at</strong>ion of conformity with the Technical Approval AT-<strong>15</strong>-<strong>8563</strong>/<strong>2011</strong>, if an<br />

accredited certifying body has issued a product conformity certific<strong>at</strong>e on the basis of:<br />

a) tasks of the Manufacturer:<br />

- factory production control,<br />

- supplementary examin<strong>at</strong>ions of finished products (samples) taken in the<br />

production plant, performed by the Manufacturer, in accordance with the<br />

arranged examin<strong>at</strong>ion program, including the examin<strong>at</strong>ions specified in item<br />

5.4.1.3,

b) tasks of the accredited body:<br />

- initial type examin<strong>at</strong>ion,<br />

- initial inspection of the production plant and factory production control, and<br />

- continuous supervision, evalu<strong>at</strong>ion, and acceptance of the factory production<br />

control.<br />

In the case of system 3 of the conformity evalu<strong>at</strong>ion, the Manufacturer can issue a<br />

domestic declar<strong>at</strong>ion of conformity with the Technical Approval AT-<strong>15</strong>-<strong>8563</strong>/<strong>2011</strong> on the<br />

basis of:<br />

a) an initial type examin<strong>at</strong>ion performed by an accredited labor<strong>at</strong>ory, and<br />

b) factory production control.<br />

In the case of system 4 of the conformity evalu<strong>at</strong>ion, the Manufacturer can issue a<br />

domestic declar<strong>at</strong>ion of conformity with the Technical Approval AT-<strong>15</strong>-<strong>8563</strong>/<strong>2011</strong> on the<br />

basis of:<br />

a) an initial type examin<strong>at</strong>ion performed by an accredited labor<strong>at</strong>ory, and<br />

b) factory production control.<br />

5.2. Initial type examin<strong>at</strong>ion<br />

The initial type examin<strong>at</strong>ion is an examin<strong>at</strong>ion confirming the required <strong>technical</strong> and<br />

oper<strong>at</strong>ional properties, performed before the product is admitted for sale.<br />

The tests th<strong>at</strong> were the basis in the <strong>approval</strong> procedure to determine the <strong>technical</strong><br />

and oper<strong>at</strong>ional properties of fire doors and wall segments constitute the preliminary type<br />

test in the assessment of the conformity of products manufactured by all producers th<strong>at</strong><br />

belong to MERCOR S.A., except for the tests listed in item 5.4.1.1.<br />

5.2.1. Initial door type examin<strong>at</strong>ion. The initial type examin<strong>at</strong>ion includes:<br />

a) the rectangularity and fl<strong>at</strong>ness of leaves,<br />

b) the value of oper<strong>at</strong>ional forces,<br />

c) resistance to vertical st<strong>at</strong>ic load acting on a leaf plane,<br />

d) resistance to vertical st<strong>at</strong>ic load acting perpendicularly on a leaf plane — in case of<br />

sliding doors,<br />

e) resistance to st<strong>at</strong>ic torsion,<br />

f) resistance to impact of a hard body,<br />

g) resistance to surge load with a soft and heavy body,<br />

h) resistance to vibr<strong>at</strong>ion — in case of doors without a closer,<br />

i) air permeability — in case of internal entrance doors,<br />

j) acoustic insul<strong>at</strong>ing power — in case of doors with declared acoustic insul<strong>at</strong>ing<br />

power,<br />

k) fire resistance class — in case of fire doors,<br />

l) smoke tightness — in case of doors with a declared smoke tightness,<br />

m) burglary resistance class — in case of doors with declared burglary resistance, and<br />

n) emission of hazardous substances.

5.2.2. Initial wall segment type examin<strong>at</strong>ion. The initial type examin<strong>at</strong>ion of wall<br />

segments encompasses:<br />

a) load capacity and rigidity,<br />

b) resistance to surge load with a soft and heavy body, and<br />

c) fire resistance class — in case of fire wall segments.<br />

5.3. Factory production control<br />

The factory production control includes:<br />

1. the specific<strong>at</strong>ion and control of component products and m<strong>at</strong>erials,<br />

2. the control and examin<strong>at</strong>ions in the manufacturing process and examin<strong>at</strong>ions of<br />

finished products (doors according to items 5.4.1.2 and 5.4.1.3 in case of system 1<br />

of conformity assessment or 5.4.1.4 in case of system 3 of conformity assessment<br />

and segments of fixed walls according to items 5.4.2.1 and 5.4.2.2) performed by<br />

the manufacturer in accordance with the arranged examin<strong>at</strong>ion program, and<br />

according to the rules and procedures specified in the document<strong>at</strong>ion of the factory<br />

production control, adapted to production technologies and aimed <strong>at</strong> obtaining<br />

products of the required properties.<br />

The <strong>technical</strong> characteristics of components applied in the doors and segments of<br />

walls in the mcr DREW SYSTEM should be confirmed with declar<strong>at</strong>ion of conformity in case<br />

of products th<strong>at</strong> are subject to the requirements of the act of 16 April 2004 on building<br />

products (Journal of Laws No. 92/2004, item 881) and in case of other products – with<br />

<strong>technical</strong> certific<strong>at</strong>es (conformity certific<strong>at</strong>es) issued by the manufacturers. Such documents<br />

should encompass hardware, gaskets, glazing and non-transparent fillings of leaves and<br />

wall segments, semi-finished products made of layered glued wood or MDF boards and<br />

glues.<br />

The production control should ensure th<strong>at</strong> the products are conforming to the<br />

Technical Approval ITB AT-<strong>15</strong>-<strong>8563</strong>/<strong>2011</strong>. The results of the production control should be<br />

registered system<strong>at</strong>ically. Records of the register should confirm th<strong>at</strong> the products fulfil the<br />

criteria of conformity evalu<strong>at</strong>ion. Every b<strong>at</strong>ch of products has to be traceable in the test<br />

register and commercial documents.<br />

5.4. Examin<strong>at</strong>ions of finished products<br />

5.4.1. Program of door examin<strong>at</strong>ions. The program of examin<strong>at</strong>ions includes:<br />

a) verific<strong>at</strong>ion type examin<strong>at</strong>ion,<br />

b) ongoing examin<strong>at</strong>ions,<br />

c) supplementary examin<strong>at</strong>ions — for fire doors,<br />

d) periodical examin<strong>at</strong>ions — for internal entrance doors and internal doors.<br />

5.4.1.1. Verifying type examin<strong>at</strong>ion. The verifying type examin<strong>at</strong>ion includes:<br />

a) the quality of performance,<br />

b) dimension devi<strong>at</strong>ions,<br />

c) the correctness of oper<strong>at</strong>ion

d) the rectangularity and fl<strong>at</strong>ness of leaves,<br />

e) the value of oper<strong>at</strong>ional forces,<br />

f) the resistance to vertical st<strong>at</strong>ic load,<br />

of sliding doors,<br />

If a manufacturer is under the control of a test system administr<strong>at</strong>or, the tests<br />

according to letters a)-c) and i) are not performed.<br />

5.4.1.2. Ongoing examin<strong>at</strong>ions. Ongoing examin<strong>at</strong>ions include the inspection of:<br />

a) the quality of execution,<br />

b) the devi<strong>at</strong>ions in dimension, and<br />

c) marking.<br />

5.4.1.3. Supplementary examin<strong>at</strong>ions. Supplementary examin<strong>at</strong>ions include the<br />

a) the oper<strong>at</strong>ional forces,<br />

b) the resistance to vertical st<strong>at</strong>ic load,<br />

c) air permeability — applies to internal entrance doors (not applicable to smoke-tight<br />

doors),<br />

d) acoustic insul<strong>at</strong>ing power — applies to doors of specific acoustic insul<strong>at</strong>ing power,<br />

and<br />

e) fire resistance or smoke tightness.<br />

5.4.1.4. Periodic examin<strong>at</strong>ion. The periodic examin<strong>at</strong>ion includes:<br />

a) the oper<strong>at</strong>ional forces,<br />

b) the resistance to st<strong>at</strong>ic vertical load,<br />

c) the resistance to vertical st<strong>at</strong>ic load acting perpendicularly on a leaf plane — in case<br />

of sliding doors,<br />

d) air permeability — in case of internal entrance doors, and<br />

e) acoustic insul<strong>at</strong>ing power — in case of doors with declared acoustic insul<strong>at</strong>ing power.<br />

5.4.2. Program of wall segment examin<strong>at</strong>ions. The program of examin<strong>at</strong>ions<br />

a) ongoing examin<strong>at</strong>ions, and<br />

b) periodical examin<strong>at</strong>ions — for segments of fixed walls, either with or without<br />

declared fire resistance.<br />

5.4.2.1. Ongoing examin<strong>at</strong>ions. Ongoing examin<strong>at</strong>ions include the inspection of:

b) the devi<strong>at</strong>ions in dimension, and<br />

c) marking.<br />

5.4.2.2. Periodic examin<strong>at</strong>ion. The periodic examin<strong>at</strong>ion involves the verific<strong>at</strong>ion of<br />

wall resistance to the impact of a soft and heavy body.<br />

5.5. Frequency of examin<strong>at</strong>ions<br />

Ongoing examin<strong>at</strong>ions should be performed in accordance with the arranged<br />

examin<strong>at</strong>ion program, but <strong>at</strong> least once for every b<strong>at</strong>ch of products. The size of the b<strong>at</strong>ch<br />

should be specified in the document<strong>at</strong>ion of factory production control.<br />

5.6. Methods of examin<strong>at</strong>ions<br />

5.6.1. Verific<strong>at</strong>ion of applied m<strong>at</strong>erials. The verific<strong>at</strong>ion of applied m<strong>at</strong>erials and<br />

emitted hazardous substances is to be carried out according to ZUAT-<strong>15</strong>.III.16/2007 and<br />

compared to the requirements specified in items 3.1 and 3.1.<br />

5.6.2. Methods of door examin<strong>at</strong>ion. The examin<strong>at</strong>ions of <strong>technical</strong> and<br />

oper<strong>at</strong>ional properties should be carried out according to ZUAT-<strong>15</strong>/III.16/2007 in case of<br />

hinged doors and ZUAT-<strong>15</strong>/III/2005 in case of sliding doors and in compliance with the<br />

following descriptions. The examin<strong>at</strong>ion results should be compared with the requirements<br />

specified in items 3.3 and 3.4.<br />

5.6.2.1. Inspection of acoustic insul<strong>at</strong>ing power. The inspection of the acoustic<br />

insul<strong>at</strong>ing power of internal entrance doors is to be carried out according to the standard<br />

PN-EN 20140-3:1999 and based on the results the specific acoustic insul<strong>at</strong>ing power<br />

coefficient RA1 and RA2 is to be calcul<strong>at</strong>ed together with the weighted coefficient of specific<br />

acoustic insul<strong>at</strong>ing power Raw according to PN-EN ISO 717-1:1999.<br />

5.6.2.2. Inspection of fire resistance. The fire resistance of doors should be<br />

verified according to the standard PN-EN 1634-1:2009.<br />

5.6.2.3. Inspection of smoke tightness. The examin<strong>at</strong>ion should be carried out<br />

according to the standard PN-EN 1634-3:2006/AC:2006.<br />

5.6.1.2. Inspection of burglary resistance. The burglary resistance of doors<br />

should be verified according to the standards PN-EN 1628:2006, PN-ENV 1629:2006 and<br />

PN-EN 1630:<strong>2011</strong>.<br />

5.6.3. Methods of wall segment examin<strong>at</strong>ion. The examin<strong>at</strong>ions of <strong>technical</strong> and<br />

oper<strong>at</strong>ional properties of walls should be carried out according to following descriptions. The<br />

examin<strong>at</strong>ion results should be compared with the requirements specified in items 3.5 and<br />

3.4.<br />

5.6.3.1. Inspection of partition segment resistance to the action of a horizontal<br />

linear force. The inspection is to be carried out on a single test element. A fl<strong>at</strong> partition<br />

segment of the length ≤ 3000 mm and height ≤ 3000 mm, mounted on a rigid frame and<br />

placed on a testing st<strong>at</strong>ion, is to be subject to a linear load force 1000 N/m, acting on a

load-carrying pillar. The cycle of the examin<strong>at</strong>ion and the measurement include the<br />

following actions:<br />

- the initial read-out, before the load, <strong>at</strong> the middle of the partition segment pillar,<br />

- for 2 min. the load is to be increased evenly, every 125 N, up to 1000 N and to be<br />

maintained for 5 min.; after th<strong>at</strong>, read the disloc<strong>at</strong>ion <strong>at</strong> the centre of the partition<br />

segment pillar height,<br />

- after reading, dismount the load and conduct the visual inspection of a partition<br />

segment. After the test, calcul<strong>at</strong>e the deflection of a partition segment pillar.<br />

5.6.3.2. Inspection of resistance of a partition segment to the impact with a<br />

large, soft and heavy body. The inspection should be carried out according to the<br />

standard PN-B-10027:1993 and the Guidelines ETAG No. 003.<br />

5.6.3.3. Inspection of fire resistance. The fire resistance of partition segments<br />

should be verified according to the standard PN-EN 1634-1:2009.<br />

5.7. Taking samples for examin<strong>at</strong>ions<br />

The samples for examin<strong>at</strong>ions should be taken in accordance with the standard PN-<br />

N-03010:1983.<br />

5.8. Evalu<strong>at</strong>ion of examin<strong>at</strong>ion results<br />

The manufactured doors should be regarded as conforming to the requirements, if<br />

the results of all examin<strong>at</strong>ions are positive.<br />

6. FORMAL AND LEGAL PROVISIONS<br />

6.1. The Technical Approval ITB AT-<strong>15</strong>-<strong>8563</strong>/<strong>2011</strong> is a document certifying the<br />

suitability of doors and fixed partition segments of the system mcr DREW for applic<strong>at</strong>ion in<br />

the building industry in the scope resulting from the Approval.<br />

In accordance with art. 4, art. 5 par. 1 item 3 and art. 8 par. 1 of the act of 16 April<br />

2004 on building products (Journal of Laws No. 92/2004, item 881), the products concerned<br />

by this Technical Approval may be admitted for sale and applic<strong>at</strong>ion in building works in the<br />

scope corresponding to their oper<strong>at</strong>ional properties and purpose, if the manufacturer has<br />

performed the conformity evalu<strong>at</strong>ion, has issued a domestic declar<strong>at</strong>ion of conformity with<br />

the Technical Approval ITB AT-<strong>15</strong>-<strong>8563</strong>/<strong>2011</strong>, and has marked the products with the<br />

building sign, in accordance with the regul<strong>at</strong>ions in force.<br />

6.2. The Technical Approval does not infringe the rights of the applicant resulting<br />

from the regul<strong>at</strong>ions on the protection of industrial property, and in particular the notice of<br />

the Speaker of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland of 13 June 2003 on announcement of<br />

the uniform text of the Industrial Property Law act of 30 June 2000 (Journal of Laws no.<br />

119/2003, item 117). The assurance of these rights is the responsibility of the users of this<br />

Technical Approval ITB.<br />

6.3. By issuing the Technical Approval, the ITB assumes no responsibility for<br />

possible infringement of exclusive or acquired rights.<br />

6.4. The Technical Approval ITB does not exempt the manufacturer of the doors and

fixed partition segments of the system mcr DREW from the responsibility for the proper<br />

quality of the products covered by the Approval, and the contractors of building works from<br />

the responsibility for the proper applic<strong>at</strong>ion and correct quality of install<strong>at</strong>ion.<br />

6.5. The content of issued prospects and advertisements and other documents<br />
