Any vacation should be hassle- and worry-free.<br />

Like every other part of your cruise with us, we<br />

make it easy to relax and do nothing but look<br />

forward to a great vacation. We know travel plans<br />

can be disrupted by unforeseen events such<br />

as illness or injury, so we are pleased to offer<br />

BookSafe Travel Protection to help in the event of<br />

trip cancellation or interruption, trip and baggage<br />

delays, lost luggage, medical expenses incurred<br />

as a result of illness or injury and emergency<br />

medical transportation.<br />

You’re covered for trip cancellation, trip<br />

interruption and trip delay.<br />

BookSafe provides reimbursement for the<br />

prepaid, nonrefundable, unused portion of your<br />

vacation should you need to cancel or interrupt<br />

your vacation due to unexpected illness, injury,<br />

job termination and other covered reasons as<br />

listed in the BookSafe Travel Protection Plan.<br />

The plan also covers additional out-of-pocket<br />

expenses for meals and accommodation, as<br />

well as for travel expenses to catch up to your<br />

vacation due to covered travel delays.<br />

You can receive a future cruise credit if<br />

you cancel for a reason that is not covered<br />

under the BookSafe Travel Protection Plan<br />

(provided by Norwegian).<br />

Should you need to cancel for a reason not<br />

covered under the plan, Norwegian will provide<br />

you with a travel credit for a future cruise equal<br />

to 75% of the nonrefundable cancellation<br />

charge amount. If you upgrade to Platinum<br />

Travel Protection, the future cruise credit<br />

value increases to 90% of the nonrefundable<br />

cancellation charges.<br />

Your baggage and personal effects<br />

are covered.<br />

BookSafe provides coverage for loss, theft,<br />

damage or delay of your luggage and personal<br />

belongings brought with you on the cruise.<br />

You’re covered for medical expenses and<br />

emergency medical transportation.<br />

BookSafe reimburses medical expenses incurred<br />

as a result of covered illness or injury that occurs<br />

during your vacation. The plan also provides<br />

emergency medical transportation coverage<br />

to transport you to the nearest appropriate<br />

medical facility to treat your condition. This<br />

coverage is especially important as your HMO/<br />

PPO or Medicare may not provide coverage<br />

when you are traveling outside the United<br />

States, nor may they provide coverage for an<br />

emergency evacuation. The plan also provides<br />

medical expense coverage for up to 52 weeks<br />

following your vacation for any additional<br />

medical expenses related to the illness/injury that<br />

occurred while you were traveling.<br />

Get added coverage with BookSafe Platinum<br />

Travel Protection.<br />

Guests who upgrade to BookSafe Platinum<br />

Travel Protection will receive all the benefits<br />

of the base plan at double the standard<br />

coverage limits for the following: baggage/<br />

personal effects, medical expenses, emergency<br />

evacuation and repatriation benefits.<br />

Travel assistance is available 24/7 around<br />

the globe.<br />

around-the-clock hotline providing services<br />

ranging from weather and travel advisory<br />

information; lost luggage and travel document<br />

assistance; cash transfer assistance;<br />

assistance; travel arrangement assistance; and<br />

medical consultation and monitoring.<br />

This insurance is provided in excess of all<br />

other valid and collectible insurance or<br />

indemnity, and shall apply only after such<br />

other benefits have been paid. Please keep<br />

in mind if you do not purchase BookSafe,<br />

you are advised to have adequate alternative<br />

travel protection coverage.<br />
