Where?
Danco Plc are an established
marquee hire company that
embody professionalism and we
are proud to supply a variety of
festivals across the length and
breadth of the UK. Over the last
few years you will have seen
our structures at the likes of
Glastonbury, Wireless Festival,
Wilderness, Lovebox and
Towersey Festival to name a few.
What?
Danco marquees are used for
many purposes; most notably
one of our 25m clear span
frames, complete with bespoke
clear gables, is used to house
The Beat Hotel at Glastonbury.
Our smaller frames, such as the
6m or 9m clear span work well
for long runs of bar or catering
traders and will often have
themed facades designed around
them which make them very
adaptable. The Danco black-out
coloured festival covers (pictured
opposite) also remain a popular
alternative to the traditional
white marquees.
How?
As temporary structures become
bigger and more creative to
support the festival organiser’s
need to broaden the attendee’s
experience, suppliers have to
keep up with the demand and
technological advances. Danco
have recently purchased a new
floor jacking system that allows
us to provide perfectly level
and increasingly stable flooring
solutions on often undulating
grass sites.
We were very honoured to be
mentioned at the ASAO annual
conference as a shining example
of how to adhere to current health
& safety legislation correctly
and apart from re-wording some
paperwork as a result of CDM
regulations, we have been able to
continue working as efficiently
as we already were.
Unquestionably, the festival
market is growing and with the
emergence year on year of new
grass roots festivals implies that
losing yourself in a festival for a
day or a whole weekend is still a
popular ideology.
