ISP FUN CAMP 2k16!
Andrea Dugand, Jennifer Soto, and Mariana
Garcia, eighth grade students from the Service
Learning Wheel, created a project called “Fun
Camp 2k16”. As a team, they worked hard and
planned activities for our Dolphins´ children so
that they could have fun and enjoy time on our
campus. The two “Fun Camp 2k16” took place on
February 27 th and March 5 th at our school.
“We are very grateful for all the help and guidance
given by Mrs. Restrepo, Mrs. Guevara and Ms.
Sanchez. Without a doubt we want to also thank
all the students who volunteered for the activity
and helped to make no only possible but very
successful, and made the children feel part of our
community. One of our kids sent us a letter in
which he thanked us for allowing him to spend
such happy moments: “Gracias por tomar la
iniciativa de compartir lo que Dios les ha dado a
ustedes, con nosotros. We hope that this project
will continue over the years.”

ISP Middle School celebrated Pi Day on Monday, March
14th (3.14) by playing a school-wide, all-day game of
Pi bingo.
Last week, in Math classes, students discussed vocabulary
related to circles and the number Pi, and created bingo
cards using those words. During Monday Flag Ceremony
and subsequently after each academic block, three words
were divulged. Students who completed a BINGO by the
end of the day earned a slice of pizza (a circular food) on
Tuesday. It was wonderful to see our MS students so
interested in Math vocabulary. Happy Pi Day!
