Gymnastics with

Beginners to level 8. Uneven parallel bars,
balance beam, vault, and floor exercises
will improve strength and coordination. Field
trips to Westside Gymnastics two days each
week. All instructors are trained in gymnastics.
Enrollment: Minimum of 8 and maximum of 24
campers.
Horseback Riding with
Trillium Stables
Daily Field trip to Trillium Stables, Lafayette!

• Price Level: Premium Specialty
Riding and horsemanship will be covered.
Each day will include grooming and riding
(indoor and outdoor facilities), plus hands-on
demonstrations. Helmets will be provided.
Requirements: Campers must wear stretchy
or loose fitting long pants and closed toed
shoes. Waiver for Gentle Hill Farms must be
completed. Enrollment: Minimum of 8 and
maximum of 12 campers.
Karate with Marvin Labbate’s
CNY Karate
Daily field trip to CNY Karate!

• For children entering grades 1 & up

Daily karate workout with Marvin Labbate
and the experts of CNY Karate in East
Syracuse. Enhances motor skill progression
while addressing lifestyles and self-discipline.

campers.
Kitchen Science
• For children entering
grades 4 & up
Week 5: July 25–29

Turn the kitchen into a science lab! We have
recipes for gak, crystals and homemade
root beer! Campers will take a field trip to
the Museum of Science and Technology
(MOST) and create concoctions to take home!
Requirements: Campers should wear clothes
that can get dirty. Enrollment: Minimum of 8
and maximum of 24 campers.
Nature Nuts
• Week 3: July 11–15
• For children entering
grades 1 & up
• Price Level: C
This camp is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts.
Go into nature for games, crafts and creativity.
Campers will take field trips to discover the
nature in our backyards. Participate in animal
tracking, making bird feeders, planting,
scavenger hunts, hiking and more. Enrollment:
Minimum of 8 and a maximum of 24 campers.
Outdoor Inspiration
with Mark Raush
• Week 5: July 25–29
• For children entering grades 1 & up
• Price Level: C
Take a field trip to Green Lakes State Park
with a sketchbook to capture the beauty of
nature forever! You’ll use watercolors to bring
the splendor of the outdoors into the art room.
Draw and paint outdoors, and let the wonders of
nature inspire your work! Enrollment: Minimum
of 8 and maximum of 24 campers.
Painting Camp with
Mark Raush
• Week 2: July 5–8
• For children entering grades 1 & up
• Price Level: C
Campers will experience and try out different
types of paints in order to express themselves,
including water color, tempra, and acrylics.
Discover YOUR painting medium while creating
true works of art. Campers will take a field trip
to the Everson Museum to see other paintings
and get inspired. Enrollment: Minimum of 8 and
maximum of 24 campers.
Photography Camp
with SU Light Work
Daily field trip to SU Light Work!
• Week 2: July 5–8
• For children entering grades 3 & up
• Price Level: A
In this photography-intensive camp, campers
will learn how to take photos while strolling the
SU campus and surrounding area. Additionally,
the campers will learn how to manipulate
images using various software programs
and Mac computers. Campers will organize,
edit and enhance photos, and take home a
disc of finished products at the end of the
week. A digital camera is recommended, but
not required. Enrollment: Minimum of 8 and
maximum of 10 campers.
