AGM REPORT<br />
The Council held a well attended and successful 2015 AGM on<br />
19th April. The executives of the Council are The Chairman, three<br />
Vice Chairmen (all re-elected during the AGM) plus another five<br />
Vice Chairs who are the Chairpersons of the <strong>HCK</strong> branches,<br />
National General Secretary & Assistant General Secretary, National<br />
Treasurer & Assistant Treasurer. The Executives are members<br />
of the Council’s Managing committee. The Managing Committee<br />
also includes the immediate-past Chair-person and fifteen elected<br />
representatives of the constituent member institutions. The Council<br />
has five trustees out of which two are from the Council’s<br />
Branches. The Managing Committee meets monthly for its<br />
ordinary meetings and may convene any special meetings if<br />
necessary. In addition to this the Council can also convene General<br />
Special or Extra Ordinary meetings for determination of significant<br />
matters.<br />
Similarly the Council’s Branches, being independent, also<br />
convene their Annual General meetings before 31st March of each<br />
year and forward detailed annual reports and accounts to the<br />
National headquarters for inclusion in the overall Hindu Council<br />
annual reports.<br />
To manage its affairs the Council has formed Directorates<br />
described below. The Directorates are headed by a Director nominated<br />
from the managing committee. Hindus competent in the<br />
relevant fields are appointed to the Directorates. The Council<br />
needs people who would be available to participate in its activities.<br />
ADVISORY-Strategic Planning, Policy Frame Work, etc.<br />
Policy formulation and strategic planning for the Council and Hindu<br />
Community. Monthly meetings are held to discuss issues for deliberation<br />
intervention by the managing committee.<br />
OUTREACH -Liasion with Member Institutions.<br />
Determines Branch and Member institution issues and arranges<br />
consultations with them.<br />

YOUTH-Youth Coordination, Capacity Building, Sports/Events<br />
& Representations<br />
WOMEN-Women Coordination & Activities among Member<br />
