IN OPERATION 

PARKPLUS is the advanced FAAC system for the necessary professional management of modern-concept parking areas. 

The system provides simplicity for users and installers whilst maintaining reliability and precision required by managers. 

Innovative and modern concept designed to provide a terminal that is ergonomic and easy to operate by the user. 

The backlit display provides users with useful and easily understandable information. 

Structured for inexpensive use and low running costs, the system is based on simple yet advanced mechanics and highly reliable electronic 

components. 

The ease of removal for cleaning or replacing parts, calibration operations or maintenance, does not require specific technical know-how. 

Optimal use even by non-specialised operators. 

Fit to withstand high traffic levels. 

Double user management: 

• SINGLE-STAY USERS WITH 2D BARCODE TICKETS. FAAC has developed a high level of experience in barcode technology 

• SUBSCRIBERS WITH PROXIMITY CARDS OR LONG-RANGE TAGS (active or passive) for maximum ease and speed of use 

Use of the barcode is a guarantee of reliability that allows reading of even the most worn tickets. 

In addition, the new 2D technology thanks to dual bar code printed on the ticket, allows reading of tickets that are even partially damaged or 

missing part of the code. 

Electronic validation at the cash-desk (whether manual or automatic) of the entry ticket makes it possible to keep operating costs low by not 

reprinting the ticket. 

System communication is standardised and based on highly reliable networks namely RS485 or the LAN network between the entry and exit 

columns with the management PC and the LAN network, and between the PC and any other auxiliary manual or automatic cash-desk units. 

The software, developed according to the latest Windows operating systems, is also designed for use by non-specialised personnel and 

brilliantly combines ease-of-use with innovative performance.

Ticket validator 

• For supermarket cash-desks, cinemas, restaurants, shops, etc. 

• Consists of: TIME 5000 PL terminal - 2D barcode ticket scanner. 

• Online data link to controller via RS485 network of Ethernet LAN. 

• Entry ticket reading with scanner to apply discounts or free exit to customers of supermarkets, cinemas, restaurants, etc. 

• Programmed via data network from manual cash-desk/data controller 

The barrier will open after ticket with drawal or card reading 

(subscriber, set-value, etc.) 

Similarly, to activate the exit barrier, the user must insert a ticket 

already paid (at the cash-desk manual or automatic), or read a 

card (subscriber, set-value, etc.) 

Ticket reading determines the automatic application of the rate. 

When payment is completed, the machine will return the change 

(if owed), the receipt (if requested) and gives the user a grace 

time to exit.
