LENDLEASE PARTNERS WITH DARKINJUNG TO
CREATE CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
Darkinjung is proud to be working with
LendLease to create employment opportunities
for local Indigenous workers and organisations
in our community. LendLease has been
active in employing Indigenous workers and
organisations on projects, most notably, the
multi-million dollar redevelopment works at
Gosford Hospital.
Darkinjung has partnered with LendLease
and the state government on the Gosford
Hospital project, with a view to generating
30 Indigenous jobs based in Gosford over the
coming three years. This is another huge step
forward in promoting opportunities for career
development and job security for our local
Indigenous workers.

Have you thought about joining Darkinjung’s
Funeral Fund?
The Darkinjung Funeral Fund provides
members, their spouses and dependants with
an affordable funeral service. Paying a small
contribution towards your Funeral Fund allows
peace of mind, that expenses will be covered
at the time of death. This reduces the financial
burden on family and friends already coping
with the loss of a loved one when you pass
away.
For as little as $3.50 per week for an adult and
$0.50 per week for a child, the Funeral Fund
plans are flexible to meet the needs of each
member.
So far in 2016 we have had 11 new members
