A very warm welcome to our 15th<br />
annual Noosa Long Weekend<br />
Festival. This is a special anniversary<br />
year. So come and celebrate with<br />
us from our Friday opening street<br />
parade and beach spectacular to the<br />
last Sunday when we are hosting the<br />
Italian Long Lunch at the Waterfront<br />
and Keith Potger AO (original member<br />
of The Seekers) is presenting an up<br />
close and personal Dinner Show at<br />
the Boathouse.<br />
As usual the Festival would not be possible<br />
without our outstanding volunteers,<br />
dressed this year in gold and black, our<br />
dedicated and hard-working Festival<br />
Director and our office staff, and all the<br />
other wonderful people who make up our<br />
team during and before the Festival.<br />
I owe a deep debt to the phenomenal<br />
dedication of our management committee<br />
who go the extra yards to make the Festival<br />
a reality. Our wonderfully generous<br />
Patrons, our very supportive Festival<br />
Sponsors and our Friends of the Festival<br />
are an integral and very important part of<br />
our team. Finally, I want to thank all those<br />
other organisations and cultural partners<br />
who join with us to put on the best show<br />
in town. Thank you one and all for your<br />
support.<br />
