their own food or “baon” so as not
to burden the host barangay. A

Post Visit Activities. After the barangay visit, each department has to evaluate the experience
and generate data on the following:
Number of services provided
Number of benefi ciaries
Amount collected
Number of newly registered persons
Sustaining PAK through Bayanihan
To sustain the projects initiated during the barangay visits, barangays are commit to
implementing and monitoring these projects. In the implementation of these barangay
development projects, the “bayanihan” system is used to reduce expenses in labor component.
In this way, the people gradually develop a sense of ownership and responsibility towards the
LGU projects implemented in their community.
