UNDERSTANDING YOUR BENEFITS
Think of an Ongoing Search as a
waiting list for the holiday you want.
When you start an Ongoing Search,
you can tell RCI where you want to
go and what ranges of dates you
can travel and set unit configuration
preferences. Then RCI will
continually search its systems-24
hours a day, seven days a week -
for holiday options that match your
selected criteria.
As new deposits come into the
system, RCI checks all Ongoing
Searches first to see if there is a
match before those deposits are
available for anyone else to book
through regular search on RCI.com or
through the Call Centre. It’s just like
when a table opens up at a restaurant;
a party with a reservation will be
seated before a part without one. It’s
also important to start your search
early because one of the main factors
determining where ‘in line’ you are is
when you began your search.
An Ongoing Search lets you control
your holiday search without having
to manually search again and again.
You can periodically check the status
of your Ongoing Search online - that
way you can let RCI know right away
if you want to book a matched unit or
continue searching for something else.
