PALM SPRINGS
THE UK’s only small water salmon
fishery. Fish farmer Ben Green lovingly
rears quality hard-fighting salmon,
stocking them into his one-acre lake
near Greetham Golf Course, not far
from Rutland. With clear water and
15ft depths anglers watch magnificent
fish cruise by. And when they take,
you’re in for a treat! Stout leader and
strong tackle required. Fish to 30lb
taken – fly only. Lodge, parking.
remain profitable. Nevertheless, good quality
browns and rainbows. The 770 acres has three
arms with inlets and bays. Choose from 54
boats or miles of bank. Regular match venue
with friendly staff and superb facilities.
befitting an Anglian Water venue. Superb bank
and boat sport with overwintered fish as well
as terrific buzzer and damsel hatches. Tuition,
