<strong>Photo</strong> <strong>Album</strong>
Introduction<br />
Generation P was a new photography competition,<br />
challenging children aged 4-11 nationwide to take<br />
and print a photo of something that matters to them.<br />
Our relentless march into the digital space means we<br />
are no longer printing photos and we are in danger<br />
of losing the connection to our past. It’s important<br />
that future generations take steps now to stop and<br />
print the photos that matter to them so that they<br />
always have physical reminders of the memories that<br />
document their lives. This competition celebrated the<br />
power of printing and the fact it provides us with a<br />
physical testimony of that one memory we never want<br />
to forget.<br />
The quality of entries we had was immensely<br />
heartening and this book is devoted to all the<br />
amazing budding snappers who took part. The<br />
photos submitted all capture the essence of what<br />
makes the printed image so powerful, capturing<br />
the emotion of a moment in time through the eyes<br />
of the photographer.<br />
