GRANGE BBQ<br />
Rowley Grange #204 is having an<br />
Oven BBQ Chicken Supper on June<br />
<strong>22</strong>nd. The supper will feature oven<br />
BBQ chicken, cold salads, and baked<br />
beans. This supper closes the Grange<br />
supper season, as the Grange does<br />
not do suppers in July and August.<br />
The suppers will start up again in<br />
September. Servings are at 5 pm and<br />
6 pm, with continuous serving till 7<br />
pm. To go dinners are also available.<br />
If you make a reservation, tickets $8<br />
for adults. Non reserved tickets are<br />

DINNER WITH THE HERONS<br />
Come to Manchester-by-the-Sea<br />
for a two-hour visit to view the<br />
evening flight of herons, egrets,<br />
and ibises into the largest heronry<br />
in Massachusetts. Kettle Island,<br />
owned by Mass Audubon, has the<br />
greatest number of nesting glossy<br />
ibises and great egrets, the only<br />
known nesting sites of tricolored<br />
herons, and the only current site for<br />
little blue heron nests in the state.<br />
From the mainland, we will view<br />
the amazing spectacle of the evening<br />
flight while discussing the life-anddeath<br />
struggle of the Kettle Island<br />
