Cheap speakers produce cheap sound and are not<br />
reliable. Professional speakers are expensive. Ask<br />
your DJ what brand of speakers they intend to bring.<br />
(Examples of quality brands are JBL, QSC, and RCF.)<br />
Make sure the DJ will play music you and your guests<br />
want to hear; a good wedding DJ will have experience<br />
in diverse crowds and know how to cater for all. It is<br />
worth noting some DJs refuse to take requests and<br />
want total control over the music - will you be happy<br />
with that?<br />
Equipment will fail at some stage; does the DJ have a<br />
backup plan on the night?<br />
Make sure the DJ has a signed written contract you<br />
both agree to. This will protect you from the DJ<br />
bringing the wrong equipment, starting late, finishing<br />
early or not turning up at all. If the DJ says a contract<br />
is not needed, find another DJ who does!<br />
Invest in a professional wedding DJ, and make sure<br />
your guests leave with memories of a great wedding.<br />
