OBSTETRICS
All members of the obstetric department team
at St. Anna Hospital strive at all times to live up
to your ideal of a family-oriented obstetrics practice.
Here in the safety of the hospital, you and your partner
can experience childbirth the way you envision
it. We offer you a wide range of childbirth options,
from underwater delivery to the birth stool as well
as all forms of
pain treatment,
from epidural
anesthesia to
a c u p u n c t u r e
and homeopathy.
Your round
the clock care
for your child
(rooming in) is
possible at any time, as is the presence of your partner
during your stay. Our local pediatrician and well
experienced pediatric nurses take care of your infants.
We also have cooperation with Pediatric Clinic
Amberg to take care of emergency situations. Midwives
provide 24-hour care to ensure that a change
of shifts will not take place during delivery. The midwives
also offer subsequent home care.

All of the nurses at the obstetrics department are
qualified pediatric nurses.
