The intimate LA gig sold
out in five minutes. It
was the only west coast
show following their east
coast and UK tour
promoting the upcoming
release of their second
album The Ride.
The energy was
undeniable. Their music
carries a touch of angst
and retrospect, a sound
that reminds me of my
teenage spirit days, and a
sound I’ve surprisingly
missed. The simplicity of
lyrics and build-up is
refreshing; an aspect lost
in the ambient music and
the remix beats of today.
The band released The
Ride in May and it
topped the UK album
charts at #1 in June.

The Wild Reeds

The LA based band was a beautiful and serendipitous
discovery. There was a quality in their voices that
captured the venue and spoke to my soul that night in
a harmony of classic folk and rock sound.
