He graduated from Trinity Laban before going on to complete the training cycle at PARTS. He now regularly works as a performer and researcher for Vera Tussing, and is currently working with Francesco Scavetta/Wee. He has appeared in works by Hagit Yakira, Leila McMillan, Nicola Conibere and others, almost always wearing a blue t-shirt as costume, and was in the BBC documentary Dance Rebels: A Story of Modern Dance, (though he doesn’t consider himself much of a rebel). He also enjoys aikido, hiking, barefoot running and tea. P/ush/ull Vera Tussing graduated from London Contemporary Dance School and has worked as a choreographer, creator and dancer throughout Belgium, the UK and Europe. A central theme of Vera’s work is how the different senses combine to structure our perception and the creation of unique, inter-personal encounters between audience, performer and performance. She is currently setting up a new creation under the title of Mazing that will premiere in October 2016 at STUK, Leuven (Belgium). She began choreographing in 1987, creating work for the repertoires of all three companies, as well as independently. She started her own dance company, Alias with Guilherme Botelho before leaving to join Rambert Dance Company. Her first full-length work Carmen was created for Northern Ballet Theatre and has been re-staged for Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montreal, The Royal New Zealand Ballet and the Lithuanian National Ballet. Didy recently started her own Company Umanoove and her first independent production The Happiness Project will tour the UK, with a London premiere at The Place in May 2017.
